Fabulous Job!!! I found Rent-a-Son on the HomeStars site and used them because of their excellent rating. We were downsizing our 3,000 sq. ft home to a furnished condo. Original move planned was to move our belongings 5 km to a storage unit. Day of the move, we added two additional destinations: a large screen TV and media unit delivery to our son's condo downtown and 50 boxes/items to be delivered to our downtown condo. There were NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES except for time. The Rent-A-Son team worked tirelessly and bubble wrapped or used padded mats on everything. At no time did I feel a corner was cut and never was there an incident where I felt they were not working full pace to complete the job. At the storage unit they made sure every box was accessible and that the side listing the item contents was facing outwards. The 58 inch TV was delivered to my son's condo in perfect condition and the items to our condo were delivered from the truck to the elevators at a pace I am sure no other mover would or could match! This company is expensive but worth every penny - I hate moving and find it so stressful. They alleviate so much of my stress by just taking care of everything. I have used the company a couple of times and they have gone over the estimated time each time, but I think that is because I had them package some of my more valuable items and it took them quite a bit of time to do that (but they were packaged very well). These guys are so professional and polite, and are always willing to go the extra mile. What a well run moving company - such a rare thing.

I'm a real estate agent and recently moved myself, so I wanted to test out this company before referring my clients. I was absolutely thrilled with the experience! The guys that showed up were so friendly, professional and very quick! Ours was a fairly big move and it was completed on time, under budget and with no issues. We hired Rent-a-Son for a recent move. From the estimate to the completed move they were professional, helpful and easy to work with. We would definitely hire this company again!

John and his crew did a fine job moving our furniture out so we could have our floors refinished. They also made sure that things were located where we wanted them when the furniture was moved back in.

I hired Rent-A-Son to help me move furniture and items from a home in Wiarton, Ontario to downtown Toronto. They were not the cheapest quote I received, but I selected them because of the great reviews on Homestars and because they are a larger company and were able to offer additional insurance on our valuable furniture. In particular, after speaking with Amanda who was so courteous and professional, I felt very comfortable trusting our valuables to them rather than the other companies I spoke with. I am so glad I did! Among the items of furniture we had moved was a 13.5 foot long hard wood table that I thought weighed around 600 pounds. It turned out that the table actually weighed closer to 1000 pounds! Our team of movers managed to move that table down a flight of stairs in one house, and up a flight of stairs in another house without scratches, dents, or damage - amazing! Justin was our foreman and Chris, Daniel and Trevor were the rest of the crew. Later, Amos and Jahmar were called in to help with the table in Toronto. These guys were awesome! All were very professional and friendly and treated our stuff with care. I cannot recommend them enough. I intend to call them again in a few months when I need more furniture moved, and am recommending them to my friends.

I booked Rent-a-Son for a residential move this summer. I was originally going to hire another company until I read the great reviews on Home Stars and I spoke to Hussein Rent-a-Son's senior moving coordinator. I was so impressed with his great customer service that I decide to choose Rent-a-Son. I am so happy with my decision. The team that did our move was awesome! They were fast, super organized and so pleasant! I would definitely book Rent-a-Son again and recommend the company to others. Elizabeth

Rent A Son were referred to us by a good friend who had twice moved their son and themselves for the first time in 41 years.Our friends were very happy and pleasantly surprised how professionally done their move was.This is a major accomplishment in a “BOOMER”, move such as this. Our "BOOMER” move was the first in 35 years.Everything we were told about RAS was true and more.Strong ,smiling,polite young men who showed they cared for your possessions.They worked 10.5 hours with only a 30 minute lunch which they ate while working. Very easy to deal with from getting a quote to the actual move. Professional and friendly. Actual move took less time than we expected and was smooth sailing throughout. Would definitely use again!
