Three excellent movers showed up on time and we arrived a half hour on schedule to move me from a three bedroom house into a two bedroom condo. These 3 men were efficient and hard working on yet another record breaking hot day we have had this summer. When there was a few nicks of damage to my furniture, the lead foreman called the company and Rob will be sending someone to inspect the damage and cover the cost of repairs. Hussein has always been in touch to make sure that every step of this process has gone smoothly. Moving is very stressful experience but this company made it a pleasant one. Congratulations to Dustin Kroft on his company and continued success!

Last week we moved my 80 year old mother from a home she has lived in for over 60 years to a seniors residence. It was a very difficult decision that she had made, but any worries about moving her furniture & belongings were soon put aside as the manor in which the 2 fellows that moved her did their job. They were amazing. I give full credit reviews for their professionalizm & how they treated my mother with full respect & in a jovial manner which made her feel important & at ease. Thanks to those two men for what they did in a difficult situation. On a 1 to 10 they were 20.

I had a great experience being moved by Rent-a-son, even though it was during a heat wave and out of a condo which had many weird angles. While they are not the least expensive movers around, you get What you pay for, and that is care and attention to detail.

This was the smoothest move I have ever had from getting the estimate and dates I wanted. The moving team guys were great, professional, hard-working and fast despite the extreme heat and humidity on the hottest day of the summer. My furniture was wrapped well and my table and bed taken apart and reassembled perfectly. Thanks very much and I will definitely recommend Rent-a-Son to my family and friends.

The great: There's no doubt about it: moving is stressful. Thankfully, Rent-a-Son made it easy peasy from the start. By providing a clear, easy-to-follow form, I was able to lay out the big items of my move in order for the movers to come fully equipped enough supplies, as well as get an accurate quote (to the dollar) with no hidden fees. Our point of contact was Hussain who never failed to pick up after the 2nd ring. He was also nice enough to contact me 1 week ahead to confirm our appointment. I am probably most thankful though for his responsiveness on the day of our move when the absolute worst case scenario happened to us (that's a separate story). The movers arrived on time and got to work immediately. Extenuating circumstances aside, the move itself went smoothly. The not-so-great: At the end of the day, I was asked to sign off on a list of moving supplies that were used. During the move, my husband rejected my initial thought of needing 2 of the 3 TV boxes I had requested and instead asked that they be bubble-wrapped, blanketed, and taped. Upon my signing off, the mover crossed off the 2 boxes on the list. Unfortunately, my final bill came itemizing all 3 boxes at $25 each. After trying to explain what happened to the accounting clerk, I was told that the boxes were in fact used during the move and that I would be charged for them. This was unacceptable as I was never told this when signing off on the final items list that day, nor was I left to keep the boxes after the move, nor could my fatly-wrapped blanket TVs even fit inside the boxes at that time. After some back and forth, Hussain thankfully stepped in to save the day and helped sort things out as quickly as possible. Lessons learned: 1) You get what you pay for. There are plenty of companies who may promise to charge less, but Rent-a-Son is worth their penny. They are convenient, responsive and flexible. 2) Keep a copy of your items list and carefully review your final bill. Even after signing off, it is still your word against theirs.

My wife and I used Rent-A-Son in conjunction with a container or "pod" supplier for a recent move. Our experience with Rent-A-Son was nothing short of fantastic right from the outset. They were very thorough in gathering all of our requirements up front so they could assemble the right team and at the right price for our move. The execution was flawless. They were reliable, professional, and courteous all the way through. The teams worked very well together and what showed immediately, was the high degree of experience they had in executing a container move.... preparing/wrapping furniture properly, loading efficiently and safely, etc. We could trust this team totally with our move valuable possessions. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization for your next move.

I found Rent-a-Son on HomeStars and called them for a quote to move some furniture within my home. Linh provided me with detailed information about the services that would be provided for the move and the cost. She explained that there is a 4 hour minimum, and when I explained that I only had 5 pieces to move, she suggested that I take advantage of the handyman services Rent-a-Son provides since I would have already paid for the time. She suggested that I make a list of jobs I needed done around the house and send it to her for approval. Thanks to Linh and her advice, I not only got the furniture moved, I also got my dining room table assembled, a blind rehung, and a door rehung. The 'sons', Andrew and Hamed, were very friendly, efficient, and professional. They were very careful with the furniture. I highly recommend Rent-a-Son.

This is the first time I have moved using a moving company and I was super happy with Rent-A-Son. Everyone was very pleasant and professional throughout the entire process, from providing initial information, scheduling, moving, and storage. The 3 guys who moved my belongings were friendly, considerate, and careful. The move was seamless. I would recommend Rent-A-Son to anyone who is considering using movers and would definitely use them again myself.

Came on time, worked hard, took care of all my stuff like it was their own. Very respectful and pleasant. No surprises when the invoice arrived. Will use them again and recommend them for sure.
