I used Rent-a-Son in 2010 and now I'm on my second move and I had no doubt that I'd use them again. They pulled up my previous estimate and Hussein Sherazi had promptly given me a call. Hussein is who I had dealt with two years ago. Simply put, they are easy going, personable and above all, professional. Moving companies get a lot of slack, but there are some great ones and this is the best one that I've worked with.

OveraLL, I have to say I was quite pleased with the move from our old house into Rent-a-Son storage. A little bit of back and forth regarding prices, time and incorrect invoices, but not such a big deal. The cost for the first part of the move was about what we were quoted and expected. The movers that came in, wrapped everything securely and filled the truck in a reasonable amount of time. Each blanket wrap cost 6.99 per blanket where as other movers advised they were included in there overall price. There was minimal markings noticed on the walls which was to be expected due to the size of some of our furniture. Nothing a little paint couldn't fix. The movers were very polite and mentioned how impressed they were with how ready we were, mattresses bagged, fake plants bagged, etc. I will post again to let you know how the move from storage to the new house goes! My experience with Rent-A-Son was great from start to finish. Hussein was the point person from first contact and was the same person I was able to deal with when I needed to make changes to my order before my move. He was fantastic. We had some good laughs as he tried to lower my stress level. The movers Nick and Paul were fantastic..really low key and all business, but so easy going when things went wrong...like the 7 flights of stairs with my couch when the elevator was too small. They acted like it was nothing out of the ordinary as I felt extreme guilt! Great experience all around.

My experience with Rent-A-Son was outstanding. Linh in customer service was extremely helpful and made great suggestions. Dave & Jeff who helped pack all the glass tables, fragile pieces and beds, etc. were very careful, professional, accommodating & exceeded my expectations. They loaded up the POD perfectly - like a jigsaw puzzle - and maximized the space. I would absolutely hire Rent-A-Son again and recommend them to friends and family. More importantly, I'd ask for Dave & Jeff to be assigned to my next move!

I hired Rent-A-Son due to the good reviews in HomeStars. I'm glad that I did because Rent-A-Son is the best mover I have ever hired. The "sons" (Paul, Mike and Nick) are efficient, professional, friendly, and helpful. Everything goes smoothly. I know I paid more than an average mover, but it's worth every penny.

Have used Rent-a-Son twice now for a move into our current rental and a partial move out into our new home. Both times, the fellows were punctual, professional, and efficient. When contacting Hussein to schedule the moves, response time has been incredibly fast. The company is very responsive to all needs (including getting a second copy of a lost invoice) and keeping everything on track and moving... Highly recommend this company!

We were having wood floors installed on the second floor of our 3-story townhouse so furniture had to be moved to temporary spaces on the first and third floors. The crew arrived on time, introduced themselves, discussed what had to be moved and where, and then immediately began moving the pieces to their designated locations. There were very large & heavy pieces that could not be moved because there was no place to move them to. They padded these three huge pieces and put them up on dollies, so that the installers could move them around easily. We were so pleased with how carefully they handled our furniture that we have already hired them to come back to move the furniture back to their original places. This was the epitome of a stress free internal move.

Patrick's team was excellent, courteous, and patient despite putting in a long day with a bunch of unforseen problems (condo elevator double booked, etc.). They needed reinforcements to get the job done, which we paid for. We haven't seen the final invoice, but unless there is a huge surprise, which I doubt, I would use them again in a heartbeat. We appreciated that Julio, who seemed to be the foreman of sorts, spoke fluent and totally respectful Spanish to my mother in law. They helped bring a stressful day to a successful close.

My mother just moved in with us and we wanted to make sure she's comfortable so we had all her furniture moved to her new room. Rent-a-Son did a wonderful job. The two guys were super friendly and the move went as smoothly as possible. They put everything where I asked and nothing was damaged so thank you for doing such a good job! I will recommend to all my friends.

I had heard horror stories about GTA moving companies so I was sure to do my homework. Rent-a-Son is Better Business Bureau certified and won best movers for two years running so that was very positive. When I called for a quote I worked with Erika who gave me an excellent impression of the company for the beginning. She and I worked together to discuss my moving needs without making me feel pressured. The quote she provided was exactly what I was charged -- no hidden fees. When my two movers showed up (early, I might add) they were so friendly and efficient. I moved to the Beaches in which staircases are very narrow so I was worried some of my furniture wouldn't make it up the stairs but with some fancy footwork they got everything up into my new apartment. My dad who was there to help with the move kept calling them "his sons" and may have even invited them to Easter dinner. I would recommend Rent-a-Sons to anyone! They made what could have been a very stressful and exhausting experience hassle-free.
