We too are perfectionists (as another reviewer described themselves) and found that the 'designer' (Binder) and installers were not. Ultimately we ended up with good quality cabinets in the configuration we wanted, but the process was very bumpy.
During the design process, we didn't get useful ideas/solutions to details that arose - e.g. they suggested putting a deeper upper cabinet, to hold a microwave, at the end of a counter top that was in very close proximity to a doorway which would have crowded this area and potentially created a cabinet that one could easily hit one's head on - our second thoughts, combined with affirmation of our concerns by our contractor, led us (not them) to find a better solution.
Installation was relatively efficient (the bulk being done over a few days) but remaining small issues took a long time to sort out. The first reaction seemed to be that 'nothing can be done'. For example: the response to cabinet doors over a fridge that ran into a sloped wall across from them started at "do you really need them to open all the way", incorrect sink cut in counter top started with "maybe support pieces can be attached from the bottom". At one point a replacement counter top was installed with a gap (about 1 cm) to the wall at one end. After a week of nothing being done, It took prompting from our contractor to get the last few bits (replacement of a single warped panel, missing bumpers, alignment adjustments) completed.
We wonder why customer reviews are so different and wonder if our less satisfied experience was because -
#1: we weren't working directly with Sky Kitchens (but rather they were the cabinet fabricators our a contractor works with), or
#2: we were working with a different Sky Kitchens designer and work crew than other customers.
While we are ultimately satisfied with the result, we would not recommend them to others because of the difficulties we had through the process.
