It was a pleasure to have these 3 young men doing our move. All 3 of them went way beyond the call of duty, acted professionally and courteously. They worked steady all day except for their deserved lunch. I would recommend this team to anyone. They respected our belongings and homes. Lynn

This is our 2nd move with Two Men and Truck and we were very happy once again with everything. We had to adjust our date a number of times and the office was wonderful to deal with. The movers are great guys, very hard working. We had very heavy furniture and winter conditions, and they had everything moved in safely in under the quoted time. A great company , highly recommend!"

Anytime we have to move, there's always so much stress. Arranging, rearranging, shutting off services, coordinating...the list is endless. To do this under the worst of conditions: a huge snowfall the week before, a snowfall the night before, mountains of snow piled up, a 5-storey townhouse, and frigid temps requires a lot of skills. From the minute I scheduled the move with Sean, he put me at ease and that's not an easy thing to do. Dan and Allen were absolutely wonderful; efficient, hard-working and fast. But the rock star of the day was Kumar who ran a special errand for me. I cannot say enough about this young man. Polite, accommodating and strong as an ox. He hoisted a pot in a very difficult location like it was a teacup. I am so very, very grateful to this team and this company for making my move as smooth as possible during such difficult circumstances. Did I mention we're still in a pandemic? I forgot that minor detail. The crew was considerate, conscientious, and adhered to all Covid protocols. I am impressed and I am very, very grateful. Thank you all! Vicki

My treadmill is a brute that weights 250 lbs., for just the base. No way we could get it down the stairs to the basement. Two Men and a Truck made quick work of the job and at a great price. Both guys were friendly and courteous. I am very happy with the job they did. Warning: Watch out for "Admistrative fees". What I thought was a deposit to hold my booking time, turns out is actually an "Admistrative fee" and is not refundable, nor included as a line item in the quote. It is a true hidden fee that was not properly explained at the time of my quote. My rating drops 2 stars in each review category because of that.

I used Two Men and a Truck 3 weeks ago for a move into a brand new home and the movers damaged the floor and ceiling. I have called the company 3 different times as well as emailed and have now called head office to no resolve. I am left with a damaged home that I will have to cover the costs of fixing. I can't even get a call or email back from anyone. I would not recommend AT ALL.

First time ever hiring movers, and definitely the last. They didn't want to take anything off the truck until the elevator was on service (even though there was little to no traffic) so myself, my husband and 65 year old mom started taking things up in the elevator and finally the movers got the hint and started doing their job. They dropped boxes resulting in several broken items that are not replaceable, also put a hole in our brand new flooring that wasn't even a week old. When we were finally able to get a hold of someone in regards to compensation we were told that WE would have to pay an ADDITIONAL 250$ for someone to come and fix the flooring that they broke, also we were offered only $20 for the broken items that again, cannot be replaced. WE PAID YOU $1500, DID HALF OF YOUR JOB AND YOU BROKE OUR STUFF!!!

Broke items and put a hole in our hardwood floor.... almost impossible to get a hold of anybody and when you do they are rude and abrupt, They seem all pleasant till they've gotten your money and done your business... If you have any problems with the movers breaking things consider it to be you're on your own.... And if you want anything replaced you actually have to pay them...even when they break your things

They sent a fellow and a teenager. It was a 2 bedroom apartment and the only large furniture they needed to take was one mattress, a crib and a kids bed and it was double the quote. They were not fast or efficient. They chipped the wall in our new house and were very unprofessional. I still regret that we used this service. The folks who sell you the service over the phone are just salesmen and they hire some labourers at a fraction of the cost.

Do not be fooled by the positive reviews for this company and save yourself the trouble that we (and many others) experienced. We were charged for 8 hours of “work” at the insane rate of $235/hr (plus all of the feels that they nickel and dime you with), even though the job took 5 hours, and the crew basically wasted time for another hour and a half. The latter included around 30 minutes spent trying to fix a toy that they broke, which I’d have no problem with, other than them being on the clock charging me $235 / hr to try to fix a $200 toy (which they didn’t end up fixing). The difference between the 6ish hours of the movers being in our presence and the 8 hours we were charged was allegedly the time it too for them to drive from their office in Mississauga to our home in Mississauga and back from the Oakville/Mississauga border after the move. While raising this concern after seeing the bill, the movers admitted that “the system” didn’t allow them to bill fewer than 8 hours even though they were only with us for a little over 6 hours (and only working for 5). In the end we were massively over charged, and left with a broken toy, a significantly damaged $2000 couch, a damaged interior door, and a lot of condescending talk from Omar, the manager of this franchise. Heed this warning, save yourself the headache and look for another group of movers, because in this case you are paying top dollar for kijiji fly-by-night quality movers.
