The move was a little slow but went well however, there was damage to a dresser and the amount quoted at the end of the move was adjusted the next day by the office and we ended up paying more.
The damage to the back of the dresser was reported by the crew and was initially going to be fixed without issue. Management has now decided they will not fix it because a member of the crew said they didn't know how the dresser got damaged. Basically, we didn't have pictures of the back of the dresser before the damage and we couldn't prove their crew damaged it. It literally came down to our word against theirs. It is a minor repair and would have been better customer service to replace the damaged particle board and have a happy customer. As I told the manager Des, let your consciousness be your guide.
I would like to mention that we did as much work as we could before they arrived, taking apart beds, moving boxes on our own, making things accessible for easier loading, providing drinks as well as tipping the entire crew of 5. I cannot begin to express how disappointed and offended I am that they would not offer to repair or reimburse a $40 piece of wood and would instead leave a great customer feeling disrespected.
Based on this interaction, I would not use Two Men and a Truck for any future needs and would not recommend them to others.
