    attic insulation

    We contacted GNI for an estimate on increasing the insulation in our attic. When the estimator came, she (Alana) said we would require an analysis on the vermiculite in our attic to be sure it didn't contain asbestos before any work could be done. She provided us with the name of a company to do the analysis. Luckily, there was no asbestos so we could proceed. Two estimates were provided, and once we made our decision, our area manager for GNI contacted us with an appointment time to have the work completed. The gentlemen arrived early on the scheduled day, checked out the work area, and quickly set up the job site, including laying down drop cloths and cardboard to protect our flooring. The three men worked efficiently and completed the job in a few hours, including the clean up, and even took a few photos of the attic space so we could appreciate the depth of the cellulose insulation. I recommend GNI for an attic insulation upgrade because they returned my calls promptly, came to their appointments on time or early, and completed the job as specified. I cannot comment on their price as no other insulation company answered my requests for estimates. Barb

    Attic Insulation

    Great Northern Insulation is aptly named. They really are great. They came when we needed them (when, after having the asbestos in our attic removed, we were without insulation), fitted us in during their busiest season, did a proper, professional job, and all the while made us feel they were on our side.     top up attic insulation

    I contacted Great Northern to receive a quote to improve the insulation in my attic. The salesman was not very flexible with his times as I would have liked to be home during the quote to ask questions and get his opinion. Regardless John the foam installer was completely professional and extremely personable. His team member Dawson was also professional. I am glad I used their company!

    Spray foam ceiling

    I had water leak damage in kitchen and kid bedroom on the ceiling. Significant portions of existing drywall ceiling and insulation had to be removed; after I got that done, I called GNI to get R31 spray foam insulation. They put protective plastic all over, and cleaned up after. The spray foam insulation work was great! The work was done quickly, all within a morning. I would recommend Great Northern Insulation for any spray foam work, especially in tough to reach places like ceiling.

    Professional, efficient, timely and reasonable

    From start to finish GNI managed the insulation of my new house in a professional, efficient manner. All questions about the process and service as well as options were clearly and concisely answered. Most importantly the work crew did a thorough and professional job in a timely fashion as promised. As it turned out there were small very cramp parts of the crawl space that were inaccessible for the spray insulation that they originally quoted on. GNI acknowledged this and in a friendly and courteous manner reduced the job price. All of the people who I spoke to at the company were entirely professional, courteous and friendly. The insulation job looks great and I am very happy with the work done and service provided.

    Attic insulation

    We are very happy with the level of professionalism demonstrated from the start to finish. The booking process was quick and easy thanks to Loretta for all her knowledge and guidance. The installers were polite and very clean, not to mention prompt. Thank you for keeping us warm this winter!

    Attic insulation

    I contacted GNI for a quote and received a quick email response setting up the date and time. Alana showed up as scheduled and did a thorough inspection of the attic. I found her to be very knowledgeable and well organized. She advised that I would receive a quote in the email which came the same day. The price they quoted me was very competitive and the scheduling process was made easy by Nick. The crew consisting of Tom, Brian and Cliff showed up just as scheduled and worked diligently for several hours. Upon completion of the work, Tom insisted that I take a look at the job and I found this to be commendable as it demonstrates the kind of confidence and pride they have in their work. The cleanup was equally impressive as they left the area exactly the same as it was before they started the job. Overall, I'm glad I chose GNI as the entire process was stress free.

    Attic insulation

    They were very professional and cleaned up every little bit of dust they created, highly recommend for any type of insulation work for new build or existing renovation. Communication was a five star as well!

    Attic insulation

    The estimator was very friendly, very informative and extremely helpful. The guys that came to blow the insulation in my attic space were also very friendly, careful with my personal belongings and quick to get the job done. Overall I was impressed!!!

    Insulation

    Great Northern did an excellent job installing the additional insulation in my attic. It now meets the required code. Tom & Brian arrived on time, answered all our 'dumb' questions and cleaned up afterward. We are very pleased with GNI.
