No issues and Derek and John were very good. Price was lower than others in the area and the product was the same. Work was done on time as promised and any debris was cleaned up by the workers leaving no mess.

House Insulation
I had GNI do a top-up insulating job in my attic of 1900 square feet. They accommodated a change I made in the date scheduled and were very prompt and efficient on the new date that we set . The three employees Derek, John and Brian J were courteous and very efficient and great to work with. I would highly recommend GNI for any insulating job in the future.

Blown in insulation
Derek & John were early to the job, cleaned up after the job was completed & brought me up into the attic to show the work that they had done. We were very satisfied with their job.

Attic insulation top up
Friendly guys coupled with excellent service. Very mindful of covering every surface, from door to hatch, and cleaned up after as well. They even took out the door mat and cleaned it. They even went beyond and added more insulation. Highly recommended. And, it's not too often I offer such praise. It was a pleasure meeting them.

Insulation of house
Recently had Nick and Tyler work on my house, both were very kind and courteous. Did a very clean and efficient job. Nick explained what they were going to be doing and how it will improve my house, I really appreciate that your employee took the time to explain what they are doing and where they will be in my house. I would highly recommend this team and company for insulation. Cheers.

Insulation of house
I applied for the low-income home insulation program sponsored by Union Gas. It was really easy to do and everyone I came in touch with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Once I qualified they sent Great Northern Insulation here to do the work. Rob and Matt from the Port Perry, Ontario Durham Branch arrived yesterday and got right to work. They were extremely efficient, cheerful and informative. They insulated the back walls of the house and the attic. They even did a great job cleaning up after they were done. Over all this experience has been great! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs insulation done. Especially if you can get Bob and Matt to do the work. Matt and Dan were on time they listened to my thoughts on the job and explained the process I know it is not rocket science nice to hear. After they cleaned any loose insulation . A nice couple of guys

Garage Spray Foam Insulaton
We're quite happy with the service provided by this company. Our main bedroom and ensuite above the garage was quite cold during winter and we actually could feel air draft in our bedroom. I took upon myself to remove the original garage insulation manually and during the process I found evidence of shoddy home construction. For example, we had an opening almost a metre long under our ensuite Jacuzzi, with just spray foam covering this hole, with nothing else holding it together. Northern Insulation spray foam job improved our comfort level by 100% and the wind draft is totally gone. For the first time in 10 years we felt comfortable in our bedroom and ensuite during the winter time. Northern Insulation installers were on time and left the place clean as they found it. The installers were courteous and explained to us what was being done. We had a few issues: Electrical wire I had meticulously laid out was damaged during the excess spray foam removal. However they took responsibility for their mistake and acted to compensate me for it. So this should be a lesson for all of us installing spray foam: Make sure your wires are safely tucked inside wire conduits deep in the wall, otherwise they will get damaged when the installers shave the excess foam. Northern Insulation installer also returned to our home a couple of times to take care of a small spot I thought could have been done a little bit better and another one which was missed. I will be getting in touch with Northern when it is time to do our attic and basement insulation. Thank you to Mike van Dijk for returning my emails promptly and not hesitating in making it right. I think customers realistically don't expect perfection, however we expect contractors to take ownership and correct problems during installation and Northern has done just that.
