I was selling a house and moving into a condo. The two deals were closing the same day so I wanted a afternoon move and could only book an elevator for 5 pm to 8 pm. I started to call movers and afternoon moves seemed to be a big problem. I called 3 movers and listened to the problems. One even said I could call the Movers Association. I wanted to load by around 1 and get from Hamilton to Oakville and ready for the elevator by 5. I was told there could be no guarantee about when the movers would arrive. It could be 12 or 6 pm. Well that was no good. If I arrived at 8 the elevator booking would be over. I was on the edge of hysteria and remembered to look at Home Stars. I saw the ratings for Arby Cartage. I called and spoke with Arby and he said No Problem. I went from hysteria to hey that is what I want to hear- No Problem. The men and truck arrived and no matter what the guys were polite and even said - no problem to my requests and suggestions. We were loaded and on the road and had time for lunch and got together at the building. The dock was small and there were issues but nothing seemed to be a problem. The men got the furniture and boxes up to the unit and there was no damage to my stuff or the property. I cant express what it means to have someone that you can rely on in such a difficult time. If you are looking for a -No Problem type of attitude and someone who can follow through and do exactly what he says he will do call Arby at Arby Cartage. And his staff are polite and follow through. We have used Arby Cartage twice now for our moves. The staff are very friendly and professional. They did an excellent job moving all our furniture and did not damage anything. They even reset your furniture the way it was without losing a single screw. From booking to finish it was a pleasant experience. They work hard and very proficiently. Highly recommended. Arby cartage helped me second time in my house move. They moved me 5 years back and I used them again this month and I can say they have amazing customer service and great bunch of guys who move your stuff. For my current move Arby was very considerate as I have to shift dates and also suggested how to get ready for the move and save time. Movers called me 1 hour in advance that they are coming around the set time. They came ahead of time and waited for me to get ready. They brought extra boxes/blankets and wraps to make sure they properly packed any open/loose items. They ensured that they moved everything gently so as not to break anything or damage the house. Once at my new place they unpacked everything and placed them as per the instruction on the boxes and set all the beds and sectionals, dinning tables and lamps. The guys who came were very through and professional and worked as a great team together. All in all they made it a pleasant move for me and my family. Will surely recommend this company.

This was our second move with Arby and was made more complicated as we moved from one home to two new ones, one in the city, and one in the country. Arby completed each phase smoothly and efficiently. Their staff were careful not only of our stuff, but of our health, respecting the current Covid-19 regulations. We were amazed at their patience as they unloaded our boxes taking care to deliver each box to the right area of the house. Moving is hard work and can be frustrating, but this one was actually a pleasure. Thanks Arby.

We needed 3 moves from our big house in Toronto to new home in Peterborough. Arby's team arrived on time, completed punctually, and stuck to estimates for all 3. The team members were cheerful, impeccably polite, and placed objects exactly where you wanted them. They took care of all disassembly and reassembly. There was no loss or damage of items whatsoever.
