We remained in our home during extensive renovations and needed to move furniture and appliances out of the reno areas, and into another area of the house. Arby was one of 4 movers I contacted through HomeStars, and no one was more attentive to our needs than he was. He understood our situation, and promptly coordinated a moving date/time with our timeline. Arby also quoted a reasonable price for the job, and arrived within the scheduled timeframe. I had mapped out the furniture placement (more for my peace of mind prior to calling anyone) and when the crew arrived, they were pleased that I had done some of the legwork - not because they couldn't do it. In fact, they reviewed everything first - what needed to be moved, where to, weight conditions, etc. They made sound recommendations, prepared the moving areas to ensure a damage-free and safe environment; and treated each piece with care, as if it was their own. Nearly 4 months later when we were ready to move things back, I didn't hesitate to call Arby's team again. His son (who's name slips my mind - sorry) and another employee returned to move the appliances (we moved our furniture as the renos progressed.) Again, attentive, reviewing the areas, covering our new flooring, carefully removing/replacing doors for easier passage, disconnecting/reconnecting the washer, and didn't hesitate to answer general questions. I've already recommended them to my brother who is undergoing renos and will likely need assistance with his move. Great job everyone!

This review is 3 years in the making - I hope they remember me! I've been too busy recommending them to EVERY single one of my friends who has needed movers - which, at last count, totalled 4 of my nearest and dearest friends. They all had the same great experience as I. I don't think I need to go on any more than I already have - using Arby Cartage for my move from Etobicoke to Hamilton was a simply perfect experience I hope more of my friends need a recommendation for movers because Arby Cartage is at the very TOP of the list!

I had the greatest experience ever dealing with Arby Cartage Inc and have already started referring them to my friends! Amit, Rudy, and Keven arrived right on time as promised on my moving day. They were extremely efficient and careful in everything they handled and did at my house. Everything was left clean after the move-out and I did not even have to clean a thing after all activity on all 3 floors. The 3 guys were extremely patient with the heavy items and all my items arrived safe and in one piece, not a single scratch. At my new condo, the team was exceptionally careful with the shared areas and they laid out runners all over my new flooring to keep it clean and not cause a single scratch there as well. They carried items, rather than drag them, and they were courteous and respectful throughout the process. Everything was put in its spot and they were in and out in under 4 hours, even though I had a lot of stuff and a bedroom that they disassembled and reassembled, really nicely, for me. Move day was the smoothest part, to my surprise, and I would definitely use Arby's team for my next move!

A friend recommended this company to me and I recommend these guys to everyone that asks for a mover recommendation. The guys were prompt, quick, courteous, careful (no damage) and personable. I was able to negotiate a reasonable rate with Arby due to unique circumstances surrounding our move and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Top-notch service.

My wife and I were down sizing our home and moving from Streetsville to Brampton. We contacted a number of companies that were referred from our realtor, friends and family, in addition to the company we used twice previously. Rates, staffing and projected time required to complete the job varied greatly. To the point where we didn't know who to believe! So after our initial quotes had left us frustrated we decided to expand our research to Homestars after about 30 minutes it became clear that we needed to contact Arby Cartage. They were friendly, professional and provided us with what we hoped wasn't an overly optimistic quote (Just to get our business). to say we were tired and stressed out on the morning of our big day would be an understatement! The Arby crew arrived right on time with 4 crew members and 2 Trucks! This was a far cry from the company we had used before that said they needed 2 days to move us 25 minutes up the road. Our previous home was approx 2400 square feet and we downsized to approx 1500 square feet. Back to Arby Cartage. They arrived at 9am on the dot. The crew was super friendly, organized as well as cautious and communicated with us every step of the way. The crew never took a a single break and by 12:30 our entire household had been packed safely and securely and was on the way to Brampton. By 4:52pm the trucks had both been emptied and setup in our new home. The crew must have eaten their lunch on the drive as they never stopped working. Arby Cartage made our moving day easier than we ever expected! Arby Cartage exceeded our expectations provided value far in excess of their hourly rate and we highly recommend their services without hesitation. I knew these guys were good the moment I spoke with Arby on the phone. Professional, respectful, Knowledgeable.....I would definitely recommend these hard workers. Thank you for making our move an enjoyable one!

I am very impressed with the job that Arby, Kevin and Rudy did for my Mom & Dad. They arrived on time, were fast, professional and courteous to my parents and even called me to make sure that I was going to be there to guide them (I showed up an hour later). Arby himself was light hearted and hard working. He takes great pride in his work and his attitude is reflected in his assistants. The 24' truck was clean, in good repair, fully equipped with moving blankets and equipment, and had a lift gate. Again... top notch. The price was the best I could have imagined. They kept within the original time we estimated on the phone and there was never any mention of "extras" I HIGHLY recommend Arby's and would use them again in a heart beat.

Fantastic! Needn't say anymore than that! Punctual, careful, hardworking, fast,...they actually provide the trifecta, Good, Cheap, and Fast!!! Normally you can only get two of the three, but Arby Cartage does it all. Thanks!

Moving after 25 years is very stressful but Arby`s was so great. They were on time, polite, fast and everything arrived in good shape and they made sure I was happy with the placement of furniture etc and the bill was below my expectation. Highly recommend!!

2nd time I've used Arby Cartage for a move. This time from a condo to a house. Arby's guys showed up 20 minutes early and helped my wife and I seal boxes instead of just standing around. They were fast, efficient and the price was very reasonable for quality service. Guys are all nice and Arby is a pleasure to coordinate the move with. Completely takes the stress out of a stressful event. 10 Stars for the second time.
