    Moving

    Quick, knowledgeable and friendly service. Showed up on time, clarified what need to be done before doing anything. Movers take extra care with your stuff and check with you e.g. in terms of booked elevator times at places you both move out from and in to, never felt a need to ask for things I would feel worrisome about. Stuff was moved into proper locations at the new place, simplifying unpacking. Final bill was thoroughly explained, never felt a pressure to do anything apart from requested service. Very easy to talk to and all in all whole experience felt helpful and personal rather than them just doing their job.

    Moving

    We were really happy with their service. They were punctual and completed the move in a timely manor. The movers were so friendly it made the stress of moving alot easier. Before they left they even built our baby crib and shoveled our pathway. They went out of their way to be accommodating and it made the move so much easier. It is our second time using them and we will definitely be using them again.

    Moving Appliances on Property

    I emailed Arby and got a response almost immediately asking to call to confirm the quote. Arby answered right away and gave me a quote for the job, which was by far the best quote from the top three Movers on Homestars that I contacted. We scheduled the job and his team arrived on time and were polite and did their work in a timey manner. They moved my Stacked Washer Dryer, Fridge and Stove from my Garage to my basement and were careful not to damage anything. They were very helpful, courteous and proffessional. No surprises or extra charges, everything went smoothly and as expected. I will be using Arby's team again for any moves and will be recommending them to my friends. Thanks very much Arby.

    Small moves

    I don't have much furniture to my name but the pieces I do have are large and I need help moving them. Each time I've called Arby they've been nothing but flexible, accommodating and reasonable. If I needed to move on a Saturday or a holiday Monday of a long weekend (like Easter Monday) - no problem. I've always been able to secure the time and date that I was hoping for. In terms of pricing, most other companies stick to a standard sized apartment for quoting purposes so with my few possessions, I truly appreciate some flexibility in their price offering and found their rates to be more than fair. Their employees are punctual and respectful of both my property and the homes I was moving in/out of. All this on top of the fact that they are all really nice and great to deal with. Confirmation of move, date, time, quote all come in the form of a very simple contract sent via email shortly following a phone call. They are my 'go to' for any moves I need to make and can't recommend them highly enough.

    Moving

    We used Arby Cartage for moving twice in the past 5 years and each time they exceeded our expectations in every way. Most recently, In December 2013 we used their service for a move from Toronto to Barrie. Due to the inclement weather (ice storm) and an unexpected illness in the family, we were forced to reschedule our move at the last minute. Arby was very understanding and accommodating and postponed our move until we were ready to do it, even if it meant he was working during the winter holidays. On the day of the move, he brought an additional mover, with very little cost increase to the original quote. We were more than satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for a rapid, friendly and affordable moving.

    Three Location Move

    I have used Arby Cartage several times. This December we moved from our home into a smaller home that we own and had been rented with furnishings. Some of the furniture from each location needed to go into storage. I colour coded the furnishings to indicate if they were to go to the new location or to storage. At the new location some items had to be removed and taken to storage. The team from Arby Cartage took the time and interest to understand the coding and make sure all items ended up in the right location without requiring wasted time re-organizing the moving truck. As usual we were very happy with Arby Cartage. A family business that relies on a good reputation.

    Moved to the Beaches

    We had a team of 3 from Arby's and they were fantastic. They came and moved us out of our apartment in an efficient and careful manner. They then moved us into our house taking care to not soil or brand new carpet. They managed to move a large fridge from the main floor to our basement by taking the doors off. They also managed to move a king size bed base from the main floor to the third floor when the bed delivery people said it could not be done. It seemed like there was nothing they couldn't move. They also helped us to assemble a lot of our furniture which we very grateful for as some pieces were very large and difficult to assemble. They were with us all day working non-stop. Thanks to them our move was so much less painful. We would definitely call on them again!

    Moving

    I recommend these guys to every one.. very quick responsible and reasonable price. They were kind and helping us as if they were moving their own house. On time and quality work. If you need anyone for moving do not hesitate to call them. much much better than any one i called and get quote.

    Move in East York

    Thanks to Arby and his great team. Our move was a bit more complicated as our closing dates didn't line up so we also had to store our furniture and move into a short term rental for a few weeks. Arby and his team handled everything for us efficiently, professionally and at an amazing price. I have already recommended them to a few friends who were also very happy with the service. An added bonus that not everyone knows about, they also do furniture restoration. My grandmother's dining room suite looks beautiful and I'm so happy with the results. Thanks Arby!

    Move from 3 bedroom house to 5 bedroom one

    Arby's company is fantastic. I've used it twice and would Recomended again and again. Great service, Camaraderie, professionalism. They moved my furniture in less time than estimated and in great condition. You won't be disappointed!
