I phoned Max because my gas fireplace would not stay on. He was efficient, friendly, affordable. He discovered there was nothing wrong with my fireplace and it just needed to be cleaned. He was very neat, cleaned up after himself and pleasant.

This is the second emergency repair job Max has handled for us (first, air conditioners and now, furnace). On both occasions, he attended quickly, did a great job on the repairs, charged a fair price and was highly professional throughout.

Max was efficient, affordable and professional. Arrived on time, and did a great job - not a "grab the cash" kind. Returned following week to replace the humidifier. Will refer Max to my neighbours. Great job!!

After a successful furnace repair last year, i have called Max again to install a humidifier this week. As always, Max was very professional and efficient. During testing, installed humidifier caused electrical damage to the control board and the blower motor of the furnace. Max was able to replace the board and blower motor as well as come up with a new wiring for humidifier to prevent further damage. After all, i have a new humidifier and a new blower/board that will extend the life of the furnace that made me very happy with his service.

Max came today to service our fireplace. I had inquired only a day ago and he came that quickly to do the job. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. I was very pleased with how my fireplace looked when he was done and told him I will call him to come back to service my furnace. Pricing was also great.

I just came back from my vacation to the Dominican Republic and found that my water tank was not working so no heat or hot water. Max came the same day and re-set my tank within 20 minutes. He was efficient, affordable and professional. Will definately refer Max to all my friends and associates. Great job!!

When our boiler died mid-winter we launched into a frenzy of research and narrowed our search down to Max and a few other companies. The pros of Max: he is a small, independent company and we like to deal with small, independent companies. The cons of Max: he is such a small company he is really just Max. Our boiler was difficult to install and Max had to return three times over several days to get it working again and the last time was the day before he left for a three week vacation. I said “Max, what if something happens when you are gone?” And he said “Don’t worry, it won’t.” And he was right. Max knows what he is doing and his quote came in significantly under everyone else’s. Cheaper is not always better but in this case we got a good product and excellent service for a great price.

My fireplace would not ignite. Max came to my home on very short notice, diagnosed the problem right away, and fixed it. He is very efficient, didn't try to make any unnecessary repairs. Excellent service, highly recommended.
