    Re-start of furnace

    Our furnace suddenly stopped working. The red lights in the control panel were indicating a problem that was not easy to deal with. I called and Max was arrived when he said he would. He asked me to turn off the power and he checked some things. Then we turned it back on and the furnace was working again - basically like rebooting a stuck computer. He also made suggestions on some small improvements that could be made and gave me the reasons for the suggestions. I did learn to try the off-on business and to ignore the error codes as a first try - then call. If you need his help send him a text with your address - he doesn't like to write things down. When he showed up in a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, I was concerned that it would be an expensive visit, but he was much more reasonable than the guy who showed up in a Ford Transit.

    Furnace repair

    My furnace stopped working and after calling a number of Heating and Cooling companies Max was the only person who picked up the phone! All the other companies told me to "leave a message". Even though it is an older furnace, Max was able to find the part to repair it instead of suggesting to buy a new one which I couldn't afford at the time. I have been looking for an honest furnace repair person and I think I've found him! I will be using Aire Max Heating & Cooling Inc. from now on.

    Furnace Repair

    In early February, while my parents where away on vacation, I discovered their furnace had broken down. It was a Sunday and I left messages with three other furnace repair companies (one of which was also listed on HomeStars). I did not receive a call back from any of the three companies. I then contacted Aire Max Heating & Cooling because of the great reviews on HomeStars. Max answered the phone and I scheduled the service call for first thing Monday morning. Max arrived early Monday morning, and quickly diagnosed the problem (blower motor failure). He returned the following morning with a new motor, and had it installed in no time.

    Replace A/C, Water Tank & Furnace Repair

    I'm catching up for HVAC work done over the past 5 years using Aire Max. I first called Aire Max about a frozen A/C evaporator (after researching Homestars). Max responded quickly and had everything working the same day. Since then Max has been my go to guy and has replaced the A/C (2 years ago) and hot water tank (last year). Max responds quickly and costs out the repair options. Max just recently came to repair the furnace which is on it's last legs. I will be calling Max likely in the fall to just change it out. Max's pricing is fair, his work is sound and he responds quickly when you're in a jam.

    Great Service and Quick Service Call for Furnace Repair (Heating issue for York Furnace)

    On a cold Early March night, wide awake with a 9C temp at home. Looks like furnace is not working. Called several companies from the list in Homestars. Decided to take Aire Max, upon speaking with him. He was straight forward, He can quickly come late afternoon, but then Parts could only be acquired the next day. Or, he can come the next day. Opted for the next day, Quoted a diagnostic fee of $90 which is at par or better with some companies I have called. Fixed the furnace the same day he came. Would definitely recommend him to my friends.

    Furnace replacement

    Service was excellent, we needed a replacement urgently as our furnace was old, and stopped working. Aire Max committed to co,me on the next day, rearranged their plans and spent all Saturday replacing our furnace. They are efficient and knowledgable. I would highly recommend them.

    New Furnace

    Needed a new furnace and found Max (owner) on homestars where he's got really nice ratings. After calling a few companies, I found Max to be very straight forward. He came to my house on the same day and offered very competitive pricing. He was also able to fit me in on the installation in the same week. After meeting Max, he strikes me to be hardworking and who really cares about his customers. Would definitely rely on him in the future.

    A/C Replacement

    This review is late, it is from the summer job that Aire Max Heating & Cooling Inc. did to replace my A/C that broke down in the middle of the hot summer months. The old A/C unit in the home was almost 30 years old so I knew it was time and timing is always bad when you more recently take procession of of a house on your household budgeting (especially in with the GTA market being what it is). Max and team were quick to install on new larger 14 SEER 3 Ton Aire FLO I wanted. I figured the 14 SEER is a little more pricey but I know that it is quickly becoming a energy standard in some of the States so just went all in if I'm replacing the old beast. They were quick and efficient getting the unit installed and the new matching evaporator coil over the furnace. Our AC is mounted on the side of our house (our house is on a hill grade) so they moved the mounting brackets to accommodate the unit dimensions and balanced out the unit on the bracketing as well. If I were to give any feedback for points of improvement, it would be to watch the spray paint! I do appreciate that they matched the mounting bracket colour to the unit unit grey colour, but some of the spray paint ended up on the unit itself and the wall. Not too bad, but should use some sort of spray can controller or plywood blocker.

    Great Service from Max

    My furnace stop working while outside temperature was -10c. I called Max and he was at my door within 30min. He looked at the furnace and fixed it quickly. Max took time to explain and show me what was wrong with the furnace. He gave me an advice what my options are. What I liked about Max is his honesty and patience. Thank you Max for the great service. Your phone number is on my speed dial now.

    furnace
