    gas fireplace

    My gas fireplace's pilot would go out as soon as I release the pilot knob. I suspected there was a problem with the thermo-couple. Called Max on a Thursday evening, he came in promptly on the next day at the the time we agreed upon, and managed to fix the problem in less than an hour. Even better than I had hoped, Max made the fix by just cleaning the pilot mechanism and found there was nothing wrong with the thermo-couple, so he actually saved me some money. I highly recommend max for any gas fireplace maintenance. Great service and a great job.

    Replace Exhaust Blower

    Max was prompt and quickly replaced the damaged exhaust blower on my furnace. He also had good advise on how to reconnect my humidifier control which had been left disconnected by a previous contractor. I would be comfortable to have AIRE Max over again to take care any HVAC/water heater problems.

    Furnace Repair

    Max was reliable and professional. He fixed a faulty furnace installation and also recommended venting the furnace outside (not sure why this was never done before) to improve air circulation and cut down on a condensation problem we had in the house. Sure enough, we saw a difference within days. We appreciate his expertise and will use him for all our future heating and cooling needs.

    Heating Furnace Call out and repair

    Great to deal with, Max I found very humble, polite and modest about this profession. He was fast, responsive, tried to help me over the phone before call out. He wants to get the job done and well. I'll always call him for my heat/ac needs

    Fix Roof Top Air conditioning Unit

    Max responded quickly to my request for service to a roof top air conditioning unit at our church. Other contractors had been overwhelmed by this job, but not Max. He made several trips to confirm the diagnosis and was only satisfied when the unit was fully functioning. Very impressed by his professionalism.

    Furnace Maintenance

    Called on Thursday and he was able to come on Saturday for a furnace check-up. He did a great job, gave great advice, didn't try to sell us anything but made good suggestions. I'll definitely call him back in the future.

    Fixing Furnace

    Came home after work and the house was cold, furnace sounded like it was running but no heat. Found Max on Homestars and liked the reviews so I called. Although it was after 6pm on a Thursday, he came within 2 hours to take a look. Max was very cordial and understanding and after identifying the problem gave me a couple of options since the furnace was 22 year old and parts maybe hard to come by. We decided to look for the parts and he did so the following morning and had my furnace running by noon! Grateful, definitely would recommend.

    fixed furnace

    Max responded to my calls promptly. It ended up costing more than I had anticipated, but that's because of the special proprietary parts that needed to be replaced. In any case, he did a great job.

    gas fireplace repair

    A home inspector told the buyer of my condo that the fireplace sparker was not operational and so I called Aire Max - he was prompt, courteous and honest. There was nothing wrong with the sparker and he explained the issues related to the installation of the fireplace to me. So rather than $500 to replace the sparker, he charged me for a service call and left me with a shiny, clean fireplace.

    Water Heaters

    Our water heater failed on Labour Day weekend and flooded our furnace room. Max came out to investigate on the Sunday of the long weekend and completed the install by mid-week. He also noticed that a previous installer had not properly installed our HVAC system and provided valuable advice to have it rectified. Max is honest, hard working and clearly cares about his services.
