I called Pestend after our apartment showed signs of bed bugs. Zafar was our engineer and I think it is best to share the process and experience from end to end.
I called a broker who pointed me in the direction of Pestend. I was completely unknowing of what to do and I am incredibly happy to have had my first (and hopefully only!!) pest exterminator with Pestend.
During the first visit (where they consult and exterminate), Zafar was very communicative and let me know when he was going to be arriving. To not cause unnecessary worry from the others in the apartment, Zafar was very discreet with his equipment which was kept in a ambiguous black bag.
Upon entering my apartment, he quickly asked a lot of very relevant questions which made me feel comfortable in that I was hiring the right company. Zafar let me know what steps would be necessary to follow through with after the first visit, answering all of my questions very well and assured me that I had caught it early and I would not have anything to worry about. He also gave very clear expectations of what I should expect after the first visit (like still seeing some bugs while they die).
I was a little bit paranoid after he had finished his first run through with the chemicals, and ended up texting him a few additional questions, to which he responded very quickly to and definitely re-assured me that everything will work out well.
After 2 weeks I reached out to Zafar to schedule a follow-up appointment, and he was incredibly accommodating with scheduling when I was available. During his second visit, Zafar communicated that this second visit he wanted to go through the apartment once again to be very confident that all will be well going forward.
I would definitely recommend Pestend to others. It was more than just a service, it was peace of mind.
