    Perfection

    Having shopped around for quotes for our move from Toronto to Mississauga, I was none too thrilled about the general costs that were coming back. So then it boiled down to a matter of ratings. Performing a thorough check we decided on Cargo Cabbie - how can you go wrong with a 10-star avg rating and no complaints to speak of? Well from the moment my husband contacted their office and spoke with Amir, all the way to the crew that we received - Jonathan, Angus, Josh, Graeme, and Jim - this company is worth every bit of the usual 10 star rating they receive on Homestars, and more! The speed and efficiency of the crew was mind blowing!! They were prompt, very friendly, and the amount of care they took with everything right down to my husband's crappy childhood memento, we felt like they took greater care of our belongings than even we would. Completely professional, not only did they follow through on everything promised in the contract, but these guys went above and beyond for us! My husband suffers from a chronic back injury and we had to get an emergency aquarium stand the night before the move, as our current stand revealed to be in poor condition. We brought it with us but I was beyond exhausted and was dreading having to put it together to transport our fish into. Even though movers typically deal with disassembly/reassembly, my husband asked Jonathan if it was possible to assemble the new stand. He said they would see what they could do and before I knew it, Angus had everything laid out and was putting together our stand at the new house! Amazing!!!!! I cannot express how grateful we are to Cargo Cabbie and its amazing employees for making a huge part of our move stress free. Worth every penny and we'll be recommending them to everyone!!!     Office Move

    I was in a jam. I called Cargo Cabbie to see if they would be able to move my office furniture that afternoon. They were very helpful, lead me through the process. I got an itemized quote. The moving guys were amazing. They were professional, had an amazing attitude and worked quickly. They took less time than was expected and my actual costs were lower than the quote. The people I spoke with at the office were also wonderful. I thought that "wonderful moving" experience was an oxymoron, until today. I would definitely recommend Cargo Cabbie. Stacey H

    complicated move made easy

    We recently moved from a large house, to a rental, on our way to a much smaller house, via two different storage units. The logistics of this move were rather overwhelming, but the Cargo Cabbie team made it so much easier. I so appreciated their "that's not a problem, we can help you with that" attitude. While their initial estimate was higher than some of the competition, it was an accurate and almost exact-to-actual-cost estimate, and I cannot believe that any other company could have actually done the move for less, in spite of promises to do so. Finally, the movers themselves were delightful -- respectful, fast, lovely. The entire experience was wonderful. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

    Excellent seamless move

    We had really responsible, positive and upbeat movers. They were funny, fast and very careful with our things. They moved out furniture into place- then moved it around when I changed my mind- without hesitation. I would and will happily book this company again. Billing was accurate and fair.

    Movers

    Best. Movers. Ever. Seriously, we have moved many times over our lives and it's generally a stressful and unpleasant experience. The unpleasantness is usually exacerbated by lousy or disreputable movers. Our experience with Cargo Cabbies was the polar opposite. We felt cared for and in competent hands from the moment we contacted them for the initial estimate until the moment when Kyle and his team finished moving us in. The moving team was super competent, polite, efficient and helpful. They even hoisted our massive couch over the balcony railing after great efforts to get it through our apartment door. Cargo Cabbie is not the cheapest mover on the market. If you want cheap (with all the grief that entails), so be it. If you want peace of mind during what is otherwise a stressful moment in life, look no further. Cargo Cabbie is simply the BEST. We will never use anyone else.

    Cargo Cabbie deescalated my stress levels

    When people tell you that moving is stressful, this is no exaggeration. Cargo Cabbie is a locally owned business and I had always noticed its vehicles as well as its HQ on my drive home or during neighbourhood walks. So glad that their advertising was prominent because I needed help with moving a stacked washer-dryer and most moving companies will not even send their employees out to the truck without a bigger job. After a series of dead ends in trying to get reasonable and accessible help, I submitted a request online to Cargo Cabbie and then spoke to the staff there about what I needed done. If you have photos of what needs to be moved and what the challenges are, include them. From the first point of contact to the conclusion of the service required, you are treated with respect and care. Moving, regardless if it is a single item across the room or across town is going to cause some element of stress. Javier assured me that no job was too small and that his best employees would handle it professionally. They arrived in uniform and strategized what they needed to do before they started. I was really impressed with how they introduced themselves at the door and were also dressed in the company uniform. This says a lot to me about how they want to represent their employer and how their work ethic and attention to detail is part of the company's customer goals. I highly recommend Cargo Cabbie and have already mentioned them to a few people pondering who they should go with should a move be in the future. If you live in the Leslieville area, ask for the Leslieville discount for neighbours.

    Stress free

    From the moment Jonathan arrived a month prior to the move to assess the project until the empty truck pulled away from our temporary home it was perfect. Everyone in the organization was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The attention to detail and care while packing and moving our household was great. The moving day crew led by Jack was great. They were so good we requested them for the next stage of our move to prepare for our renovation. I have had many corporate moves and this was the most professional company have ever worked with. Well done!

    Move across town

    The entire booking process was seamless - from submitting the quote online to staff responding promptly (often within minutes) to any and all questions. On moving day, the movers - Kyle, Mike, and Graeme - arrived on time, and quickly got to loading up the truck. Despite our move happening on one of the hottest days of this entire year, they didn't slow down, and worked efficiently until the end. They were prepared for every aspect of the move: blankets, bubble wrap and tape for the furniture, mats for the floors, wraps for the doorways, a tool kit for when a door suddenly needed to be removed from the hinges.... Cargo Cabbie was not the cheapest quote we received, but we went with them due to their excellent reviews here on Home Star. They were absolutely worth the price!

    office move of file storage

    This was our first time using Cargo Cabbie and from start to finish we were very pleased. My first contact was with Amir and he was very helpful. I received a call from Kate the day before to confirm everything which was appreciated. We had a 2 man crew which were very efficient and courteous. I would highly recommend Cargo Cabbie to family and friends.

    Condo pack and move

    I hired Cargo Cabbie pack and move me from one condo to another. From the initial estimate online and through to mobile payment everything went smoothly. The crew shrink wrapped and wrapped everything and unwrapped everything quickly and cleanly. I would definitely recommend CC for a smooth move. Thank you.
