I have used cargo cabbie services three times, Once four years ago, and twice in the past two years. The incredible thing is that each and every time the movers were as good as the last time. No wonder why they were voted best movers. Also proof why they've been able to stick around in Toronto with a clean record and many positive reviews for so long.
In my last recent move, I hired the CC team for a local move within the city. The movers brought lots of clean blankets and wrapping materials to protect every piece of furniture.
This was no easy job as I had an unusual number of boxes and a few large heavy pieces of furniture.
Not only was the move of my 2 bedroom loft done efficiently, they also managed not to damage a single item. On top of this, the movers had an all can do attitude.
Jonathan,(the foreman) was efficient and was able to size up the situation at the get go.
We also had great conversations with the other guys part of the moving team. They all had a great attitude, were fun, careful and just simply cool guys to have around.
They asked me questions as to how I wanted things placed and arranged at my new place which made things very easy for us when unpacking.
I almost forgot to mention that when I first called the office, the moving rep. was able to setup an onsite visit to better assess our move. To my surprise, one of the owners came to meet us and took pictures of the furniture so that they can accurately quote the job. Hours later, a revised estimate was sent to us via email, outlining the estimated moving time and total cost of the move .
All in all, my last experience with the entire cargo cabbie team was as good as my first time. These guys knew what they were doing and they succeeded in transforming a very stressful day into a very pleasant experience for my girlfriend and I.
If we do move again, and hope not anytime soon, they will be hearing from us. Kudos and thanks again for a great job.
