    Two bedroom home move in Cabbagetown.

    This was the best moving experience I have ever had. Javier and his crew were energetic, professional, and very courteous. After just a few minutes of watching them work I felt confident that my stuff was in good hands so I just made myself scarce while they did all the work. It was great. Best of all, they finished 30 minutes faster than estimated! I would definitely recommend this company.

    Moving to a storage locker

    A quick, professional and affordable moving experience that took much of the pain out of moving. They arrived on time and finished early. They also donated my unwanted couch to a local shelter. A+

    Moving house contents

    I found Cargo Caddie through HomeStars and hired them based on previous reviews. The process was simple and easy: 1) fill in the specifics for an online quote; 2) accept the quote; 3) telephone confirmation from Cargo Caddie; 4) prompt arrival on moving day. What absolutely blew me away was the care and consideration given to my belongings. Unless I said, "don't bother", every piece was wrapped in padding and plastic wrap. The entire contents of our kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms (including 50 boxes rented from Andrew at City Boxes, also a HomeStars recommendation and also worth a 10 star review) were moved into our new apartment in 6 hours with not a single scratch or dent on anything. The superintendent of our building was so impressed she asked for several business cards. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you, Javier, Chris and the rest of the Cargo Caddie team.

    Furniture Move

    We needed to move our big pieces (sofa, chairs, beds, etc) to a temporary residence. It was easy and fast to receive a free estimate, with a follow up email asking additional questions to ensure accuracy. Javier and his crew showed up and delivered a great service, taking great care with all our pieces but without dragging their heels. When delivering to the new address, mats were laid to protect our floors and railings. The move was completed bang on the estimated time with no added costs or surprises. We'll definitely call again for future moves!

    Movers

    Cargo Cabbie was so stress free that when I had to move twice in two months I knew who to call right away! On time, fast and clean! Thank you!

    Couch delivery

    The guys at Cargo Cabbie were great, total pros. They dealt with every issue that came up when transferring my couch from my friend's apartment to mine including being forced to sneak through the main entrance because the service door wasn't big enough. All painless.

    Moving

    Cargo Cabbie saved me! I had mistaken my closing date (stupid, I know) and ended up needing a moving company to help me move the very next day. Of course, this is the busiest time of the year to move, every company I called was booked, some right up through October!!! I called Cargo Cabbie and was surprised that they could actually accommodate me on such short notice -- given that they have so many satisfied customers...but Hilary made it work! Javier himself joined the guys in the move and they were timely, quick, careful and efficient...and really nice!!!! Their quote was reasonable and they did a great job at managing expectations around this....even with us both getting stuck on the Don Valley Parking lot AND offering to put my bed together as an extra service that would add to the time, they STILL came in under the quoted time. I will continue to call Javier and Cargo Cabbie every time we need to move anything heavy around the house and will happily recommend them to family, friends...whoever will listen!!!

    furniture move

    I used cargo cabbie when my wife bought a few things online. the service was very friendly and time efficient. Javier and the team where professional and courteous throughout the process. i would highly recommend this mover for any future moves big or small. thanks again cargo cabbie.

    Moving and Storage

    This review is long over due, but Cargo Cabbie is worth to post. Javier (owner) and his team are extremely friendly, organized, and on-pointe! I had booked their services approximately 2 months before the move (since we were in the thick of moving season). About 2 weeks before the move we realized that we got our closing dates wrong for the old place and the new place. I sent in my concern via their website thinking that we would have to look elsewhere to take the job. Javier actually called me back within the hour of sending my request (while on another job) letting me know that his office (Hilary) will get another quote together. We actually had another separate conversation over the phone to talk about what needs to happen and how much stuff needed to be stored for a night. He sent over Chris (aka Mr. Ikea Man) a week before to take a look around to estimate how big of a truck they need (and see how man Ikea pieces he needed to dismantle and reassemble - sorry Chris, but you have the magic touch!). Moving day came and it was hot, humid, and poured rain like there was no tomorrow. They came 15 mins early and went straight to work. My husband was really impressed in how they handled our artwork/large frames (cardboard, moving blanket, and plastic wrap). Amazingly, they packed my whole life into the truck...including the plants! The next day, we kept in touch with Javier via text as we didn't know when we will get the keys to the new house. Thankfully it came early in the day and not towards end of day. We managed to timed our arrivals, however, the previous owners were still moving out. Javier and his team were cool about it and even shared stories about other moves where they had to wait for a while for their clients to get the keys to their new homes. Moving in was a breeze. To help them out, I had labelled my boxes and furniture as to where they need to go and at the new home I plastered signs directing them where to put the stuff. Nothing was damage...not even the plants! Though we had a blip with when the moving date should be, Javier gave me comfort that he had worse. He was also fair in what he charged us. Out of the 4 companies I asked quotes for (including over night storage and two separate moving days) they were in the middle of the pack in terms of price. But it was their customer service that won me over and their ability to "keep cool" during the whole prep work (quotes, load assessments). I will certainly recommend Javier and this team to everyone. Kudos to Cargo Cabbie! Keep up the great work!

    Moving

    Giving Cargo Cabbie "only" 10 out of 10 wouldn't do them enough justice. They deserve more :) They were very professional, friendly and flexible from the moment we have asked for an estimate (which turned out to be pretty accurate). They showed up on time, worked efficiently and friendly, and when required simply asked us what (or where). Not that they needed to ask us too much, they knew what they were doing. 4 hours, out-and-in, and our move was done. Nothing was broken or scratched, furniture and fragile stuff were wrapped in moving blankets, and everything was placed where we wanted it. After unwrapping, they also took the shrink-wrap and tape waste with them. I have heard many many horror stories about moving in Toronto. I was glad to be shown it can be done differently by Javier and his team, Michael and James. I would hire them again (not that I plan to move again so soon :) and recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys for a job well-done!
