    moved a Fridge

    My office down town was closing, and I had an opportunity to get the fridge from the kitchen for a very good price, so I put my name on it. Unfortunately I fell and broke my wrist and was in a fix trying to find a way to get it from downtown to my condo. I called around to a few places, and the prices I was getting really didn't make the move worth it until I found Cargo Cabbie. They were very affordable, and helpful. The guys were considerate, and the move happened efficently. I will definately recommend them to my friends, and when I need to make a move in the future I will call them first.

    Move to Storage

    I highly recommend Cargo Cabbie. We have used them several times and they are kind, careful and professional moving service. They are mindful of little things from taking off their shoes at the entrance to making sure everything is shrink wrapped/covered and ready for transport. I was very impressed at how they took the time to make sure all the items fit, were protected and secure at the storage facility. Amazing and kind people who will be our first choice for any move -- big or small.

    Moving 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom

    Where to begin? First off Javier not only owns and runs the company he also shows up and works his butt off with his crew. Fast, careful and professional I didn't feel like I had strangers in my house! The guys were fun and personable. They brought in a specialist (at no additional charge) to break down our bigger pieces and reassemble when Javier had to leave to attend to business. We joked and the day seemed to fly by even though we went over time by about an hour. We have recommended them to friends and encourage anyone who is moving to get a quote. We experienced the exact opposite of the typical moving horror story of so many of our friends and family. Cargo Cabbie does it right from start to finish, and there is the great feeling of supporting an independent business in a city full of big name vultures! Thanks guys, Maddy and Donavan. PS Liam loves the Spider-Man room!

    moving

    I first hired Cargo Cabbie for a last minute delivery of something I bought on Craigslist. The experience was great so I hired them again for our most recent move which was much bigger and more complicated as it involved the amalgamation of 2 homes. Again, Javi and his team provided excellent service - they were friendly, efficient, respectful and fair. I have had horrible experiences with crooked moving companies in the past and it is a relief to have found a company I can trust. I will now call Cargo Cabbie for all my moves - big and small.

    Pick up a large glass dining table & chairs

    I highly recommend Cargo Cabbie. Javier, the owner and John were very friendly, intelligent, great conversationalist and most importantly, trust-worthy and highly efficient. I drove with them for 2 hours and always felt safe with them & at home. They took care to gently wrap the 6'4" glass table insert and packed and unpacked my table and chairs at the pick-up point and at my home. Javier's story of why he started his business is inspiring! Javier & John are philosophical & have a great sense of humour. I enjoyed my time spent with them and as a female felt 110% safe at all times. I would definitely use their services again & again and I will always recommend them! They exceeded all of my expectations! Thank You Javier & John for taking good care of me and my merchandise!     3 Bedroom Condo to Loft relocation from The Beaches to Yorkville

    I found first Javier and crew when they moved my next door neighbors last month. The neighbors were very pleased with their service so i decided to give them a try. Javier and i communicated over the phone a few times, and after getting a decent estimate i booked. Javier came to the site personally with two of his movers, did a really nice job and put me completely at ease. I had a few heavy expensive items(King bed, buffet,table,and a large wardrobe) and our condo had recently finished hardwood floors. They made sure to wrap everything with clean blankets, carefully dis assemble several items, and even put mats down on the new floors. No damage was done at all and the move was actually done slightly under the estimated time. , in spite of the extra prep work, i believe i received a great value for what i paid and i would not think twice before hiring them again! I highly recommend Javier and team to anyone looking for a stress free move Thank you guys for helping us with such a stress full time for us ! We are already referring you to others!     Bookshelf move

    I have hired Cargo Cabbie three times now. Most recently he picked up a bookshelf and delivered it to my place, on short notice. Each time the service was efficient, professional, and reliable with very pleasant staff!

    Sofa Move

    These guys are amazing! I had them move a very heavy sofa into a very tight space on last minute notice (night before!).Javier and the other two movers were very professional and maintained calm even when running into serious difficulties getting the sofa into my home. They were persistent and determined to get it in. In the end they had to lift it over a 5 foot fence in my back yard and take it through my back door. I was relieved to have it in and very impressed with these guys. Highly recommended!

    Partial Move

    I am so thrilled to have found Cargo Cabbie here on Homestars. I had to move a number of items from my condo into my locker in the building as well as into a storage unit a few blocks away and I was not really sure who to call. When I found Cargo Cabbie I knew that I had found the right company. From my initial telephone call, Javier was both friendly and highly professional. I was directed to their website where after answering a few questions I was presented with a clear and concise quotation. It was very reasonable and I booked the job. The move happened this morning and it could not have gone better. Cargo Cabbie most definitely lives up to its reputation. Javier and his team arrived on time and quickly and efficiently got the job done. Once at the storage unit, I became concerned that the unit was not large enough for all I had to store, but the team worked magic to get it all in safely and neatly- saving me the expense of a larger unit. I would without reservation recommend Cargo Cabbie to anyone looking for an excellent service experience!

    Sofa Move Across Town

    I met the Cargo Cabbie on the other side of town where we picked up a new-to-me leather sofa. The guys wrapped it with blankets and tape for protection (great work, I wasn't expecting that) and brought it back across town and up the elevator to my apartment. Everything setup in no time. Fast, pleasant and nice to work with. Will use again.
