    Whole home renovation, great job!

    I recently purchased a new home and had to do a whole house reno. Windows were a big part and I didn't know where to look. I was recommended to Windowtech by a friend of mine who had his windows replaced by them in the past. They sent over Mike who is the installation department manager and he was able to give me his opinion on the type of windows and installation I needed. The whole process was relatively easy. I ended up choosing to replace all of the windows in my home instead of doing it in stages because Mike offered me a very reasonable financing option. 4 weeks later Peter and his crew came by to do the install and managed to get everything done in one and a half days. They were very organized and didn't leave much cleaning for me to do afterwards. They also removed all of my old windows and recycled them. They did a great job answering a few questions I had about insulation between the casings and didn't mind taking the time to explain the installation to me. Overall I am very satisfied with the finished product and all of the services provided to me by Mike, Peter and the rest of the crew and I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to get a good product for a fair price.

    Windows on the first and second floor and entrance door

    New windows & doors I would highly recommend Windowtech and specially Ken. I purchased a new entrance door and windows (2 floors) from them and received a professional service with every person I dealt with! Thank you Windowtech!

    Windows full house

    Hi i am very happy ith windowtech company. Leon , sales rep is very knowledgeable and explain me all details about windows quality. We pick up very nice front door . Very happy will recommend this company ..... Thank you windowtech

    windows and patio door

    First of all I don't know how come ( based on my experience ) this company can have such high ratings on Home Stars. I signed a contract with these guys on October 3rd 2016 ( Mike as sales person ). They were suppose to replace 9 windows and one patio door and the way we were told the job was a one day job. They ordered 2 wrong windows and installed wrong patio door ( based on what the sales person promissed ) and this is how everything started. Took them 2 months ( until December 1st ) to complete the job to THEIR satisfaction ( I lost 3 days of work ). When I tried to get in touch with the sales rep ( after the problems started ) , was nowhere to be found even though before signing the contract was reachable all day long. All the time I had to talk to Ken, who in our first phone conversation after telling him about the wrong patio door that was installed, said that if the sales person made a mistake when describing the products, we should be understandable about his mistake. In some other words, I don't care about what you were promised. There is a lot to be said about these guys ( Mike, installers, Ken and Justine ) like not telling you the truth and making fake promises. The story is very long but I'm going to keep it very short. Beside mostly Ken's bad attitude towards me as a customer, these are the things they didn't do wright : - patio door was promised like all the windows with jamb extension from the factory and they just installed a vinyl door to which they added jamb extension, they installed a window with a cracked jamb extension and they installed a laminated window in a different room than the one was supposed to have a laminated window. After all these problems I paid them three quarters of what I owed them and gave them a period of time to come and fix the problems. They never bother, but later on they passed my name to a collection agency. My advice is to stay away from this company or if you really want to take chances , make them write on the paper absolutely all the details , doesn't matter how small they might seem. This way they can never say " We never said that ". Good luck !

    Dear Ben, I’m sorry to hear that you think that way. I would like to clarify some important points. First, I would like to say that our rating on Homestars is high for a reason! We are always ready to listen and learn from our mistakes in case they have been made (we’re only human) and resolve them ASAP. To leave an unfinished project or an unhappy customer is not in our best interest. That’s another reason why our rating is high. 1.Laminated glass - I would like to confirm that all windows that were supposed to be made with laminated glass according to the contract are in fact laminated. Our main order form and confirmation acknowledgement was delivered to you in order to see that everything was done right. 2. Sliding door frame – the frame was built and gets constructed to the door on the spot. This is our procedure when it comes to wood framing. There’s nothing wrong with the way we installed it and there’s nothing wrong with the frame itself. Everything is perfectly fine. Cracked jamb extension (window frame) – during the installation process you noticed a small crack in the wooden frame around the window. Our installer confirmed it and said that it will be replaced with a new one. 3. Collection agency – After so many efforts to prove that everything was done according to the contract, our company received an email from you on December 19, 2016 stating that if we will resolve all 3 “issues” you will pay the balance. We sent a service call to our installation crew to resolve the following: 1. To change the door frame to any other frame you like 2. To replace the cracked window frame 3. To remove the laminated glass unit from windows to show the difference and prove to you that they are laminated (different thickness from regular window). When our installer called you to set up an appointment, you told him that you are not interested in fixing the issues. You also asked him not to call anymore. I also called you the same day to ask the reason why you rejected our installation crew, you simply told me that you’re not interested in talking to me and hung up. It seems as if you’re looking for excuses NOT to pay for the services you’ve received as ordered. Unfortunately, this left us with no choice but to transfer your file to a collection agency. I don’t think that our company deserves a 1 out of 10 rating just because you’re unwilling to pay the balance. Best regards, Ken Sales Dep Manager

    Replacement front door

    I was very impressed with the professionalism of the installation Peter did an awesome job they cleaned up after themselves the door looks fantastic they did a removal of the old door and the old glass it's amazing I'm very very pleased

    Extremely Satisfied

    I called Windowtech on the recommendation of my son who recently had all his windows replaced by them. Mike came to take measurements and discuss my needs. When I met Mike, I immediately felt comfortable with him. He was knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, I felt he was trustworthy. He provided me with a reasonable quote for my new windows. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and the crew were efficient, fast and very pleasant to deal with. The new windows look amazing and my home is finally draft free, cozy and warm!! I would highly recommend this company!

    I love my new windows!

    I love my new windows! It was a great second stage experience with the same company! Last year, we purchased our front double doors from them and this year we changed all our windows. I would like to say thanks to Leon (the sales rep) and the installation team. They are very professional and detail oriented. Everything went smooth from consultation to the end of installation. They cleaned up everything as well. I already recommended Windowtech to my family, friends and co-workers. Great job guys!

    Windows and Doors

    Although I had a few issues post installation, the services team worked well and had a crew come out twice to correct. I can say now that I am very happy with both the sales and the after sales service I received from WindowTech.

    Front door replacement

    Thanks a ton to Mike for patiently taking us through the options and guiding us on making what we consider as the optimal choice for our entrance area. Prior to Windowtech, we had 3 companies come in for a quote - none of them could give any constructive suggestions or advise on trends suitable for our home. Mike has the experience and presented different ideas and trends for us to consider. This resulted in giving us the confidence to change from a single door to a double door model. The overall Windowtech service model is also excellent - own (not subcontracted) installers, single source manufacture, warranty, options on hardware. A visit to their showroom is recommended so that you actually see the door models and the finish. There was a small hiccup on scheduling the installation, but we consider it a small inconvenience in relation to the result. Chris, the installer was very polite and experienced and went about his work very efficiently. Overall we just love our front door (and so do our neighbours!)

    Great service

    I've dealt with Windowtech two times, this time I have replaced my front door and 7 windows. No regrets, great service! Very professional from the beginning to the end. Already recommended Windowtech to two of my friends, Will recommend again. Keep up good work! Thank you guys!
