    Beautiful

    The Five star painting team did a beautiful job painting our home. They were very professional and took great care and pride in their work. We are very pleased…and have had many compliments from our neighbors and others walking by our home!

    House looks great

    Very pleased with the work. The painters showed up every morning on time and cleaned up the end of every day. Communication with the painters was excellent. The house looks great and I would hire Five star painting again.

    Highly recommended

    Fantastic

    Every step of the process was fantastic - from great ideas on how to update our space and detailed estimates to an absolutely perfect paint job. We live in an older home and prep work was key to a great finish - The team took care of every detail and we’re so pleased with the results. Highly recommend Five star Painting!

    Exterior painting of house

    EDIT 2024 - I noticed the company responded by saying a boom was used. Either they are confused with another home or being dishonest. 100% no boom was used. The side of house was not done. In Oct 2021, Five Star completed exterior painting on our 3 story semi house. We found them on Homestars and selected them based on reviews, their potential availability, and quote. Pros: - free colour consultation - the consultant was professional and really helped us to determine what colour to use. We are happy with the colour - competitive quote - professional staff -were able to fit us in before the cold weather hit Cons: - unfortunately, the lack of pre-painting preparation really impacted the final result. The new porch and stairs were not covered and had lots of paint splatter. Porch ceiling not covered, edges had overspray. 2nd and 3rd floor Roof shingles had many paint splotches. -painter returned to remedy - somewhat satisfactory correction of the porch and porch ceiling. -we decided to leave the paint marks on the shingles, as we had concerns on how they would be corrected. Would rather just replace the front shingles in <5 years. Was the house painted? Yes. But we were really surprised that a professional outfit did not put any time into pre-painting prep. Not sure if this is normal for them or due to volume of work that needed to be done before cold weather.

    the paint on the shingles will be washed away as the paint does not have a primer to stick to asphalt. Had this not been the case we would have used paint removers immediately the peak of the house was initially planned to be reached by long ladder; however, when the painting was undertaken the base did not provide for a stable enough platform to use the long ladder We arranged for a boom lift to complete the job. We typically have a charge of around $1,100 for the lift; however, we did not charge anything for it as it was not included in the initial estimate and we stood by the budget we had provided at the time of the estimate the arranging of the boom lift took some time and delayed the work exterior jobs are very demanding physically. The thrust of the work is to complete the job, do a walk around, and take care of any minor deficiencies at the end. The deficiencies take very little time to fix at the end. We thank you for the opportunity you gave us to be of service and look forward to be of service again in the future.

    Excellent service

    Five star painting provided excellent service during painting project to the exterior of our Home! The painters were professional . A special thank you to Manager , the project leader, who took care of every detail. We highly recommend Five star Painting.

    Wonderful company

    Five star painting is a wonderful company. Every person that I dealt with was professional and flexible. The painting crew was very skilled and a pleasure to have in the house. I can recommend five star painting without reservation and with great enthusiasm.

    Great job and service

    Great job and service. Kept us up to date on all work. Friendly staff that said "hi" every morning and foreman that checked in regularly on how we thought the job was going. We decided on a minor color change early in the paint work and they acted quickly to work with us on it.

    Fantastic service

    Their service was fantastic from start to finish. They were candid about everything, they explained things in details, and they also went above and beyond to assist with the improvements. Will definitely use them again when needed, and I strongly recommend their service. I could not be happier with their service!
