I am very happy with the finished result. Felix (a sub-contractor of 5-star) worked hard and did a really great job. He started several hours late due to the rain but he finished the job on time. I am also very happy with how quickly Five Star got the job done (within days of the quote) since I was planning an event at the house and wanted it finished within 2 weeks. I am less happy with the 'sales process' part of this job, which had nothing to do with Felix. I got a verbal quote of $1200 from a sales person (in person). Then I received an emailed quotation with a price of $1250. I immediately sent it back for correction. My last name was so butchered I hardly recognized it. Nobody had asked me how to spell it. When Felix arrived, he didn't have the work order (I was told by the salesperson that he had it). He didn't know that the paint was included and he didn't have the names of the colors I'd chosen with the salesperson. When he received the work order the next day, he received the original (wrong) higher priced order. I gave him the correct one. Attention to these details matter! They inspire confidence when they are handled professionally. When these details are messed up, it creates doubt about having made the right choice. In my opinion, the $2.50 Tim's card I got for 'a coffee' on them also seemed cheap. If you are going to give a signing bonus, make it five bucks at least. I cannot award this company 5-stars due to the nonsense with the quote. I absolutely give Felix and his team 5-stars for the work they did. He went out of his way to please me with the finished product and he remained pleasant throughout, even though he knew and understood that I was not impressed with the company itself and it's lack of attention to the details.

We met Mike at the CNE Spring Home Show and arranged for a quote to paint our condo. Mike was really helpful in explaining their process and the costs were very reasonable so we decided to go ahead with the work. Mike and his team were great. The painters were very professional and ensured all of our belongings were covered and protected throughout the entire process. They were also very respectful of our property, even taking off their shoes while they were here and tidying up each day after they were done. The job took two days to complete (we painted our 2-bedroom condo, excluding the bathrooms) and Five Star Painting did a great job. After the first day, we pointed out some areas for the painters to touch up and they happily ensured all those items were addressed, no fuss or push back on anything. And while Mike wasn't involved in the actual painting work, he was always available via a phone call or email to respond to any questions we had. Overall we're really happy we finally decided to get our condo painted and to do it through Five Star Painting. Thanks Mike to you and your team, this was a great experience. We'll be sure to contact you again for our future painting needs!

The five star boys did amazing work at our home. They went above and beyond our expectations. They were very professional. We left our home in the morning and they completed three full rooms, kitchen, living room and hallway and a converted room in the same day with quality work and cleanup. This is my second time having them at our home. Highly recommend.. Thanks again guys.

The team did a great job. They painted our main floor, including kitchen, and painted the risers of our dark wood stairs white. What a difference that made! Mike and his team were polite and friendly and gave us good advice on how to make our rooms look even better. Excellent quality and they finished ahead of schedule. The price was fair compared to other quotes we got. Would definitely use them again.

Mike and I met regarding some interior painting to be done to brighten up and enhance my 7 year old high volume restaurant. His team worked on our interior ceilings, customer washrooms and staff room. Wow, what a difference! The space feels like new and the team was incredibly personable throughout the process. We are setting up more work in the coming weeks as I was very pleased all around! -Christina

Perfect work. Very fast and clean. It is really five star. I recommend to everyone.

Empty house under 2000 sq ft, 4 bed, 2.5 bath, granny suite in basement. Painted, 2 coats, baseboards and repaired minor holes (from artwork). Mike was professional and gave a thorough quote, and made recommendations on what to paint and what not to "waste" money on (i.e. no return on investment when reselling). Ali oversaw the actual painting, and called nightly with updates. Work done on time, and looked great. Would recommend, and use again.

We had our hallways and living room painted. When Mike came to provide us with the estimate, he recommended a light grey colour. We are very happy that we went with his colour recommendation! The great thing about 5 Star Painting is that they are willing to do any touchups to ensure that you are happy with their work. Their pricing is also very reasonable.

Good job and fast and good quality and the company are very pleasure to deal with from start to finish.
