Everything was easy from beginning to end. Sohail and Marife were great at the planning stages, and the 3 painters were super fast and friendly to be around. Would definitely use them again.

We used this company that was at the Markham Home Show. They gave us a fair quote. Almost our whole house was painted with a high living room ceiling. Hamid worked alone and was very thorough and fast. He was amazing! We were very satisfied with his work and would definitely recommend Five Star Painting.

We painted our whole home in preparation for selling it. Mike and his employees were simply amazing. The quality of the painting, the speed with which it was done and overall customer service exceeded our expectations. The cherry on top was when we needed an emergency fix a few days after the job was already completed; our stager had made holes in the walls in several places in various rooms which looked terrible. Mike had someone return and fix it up, afterhours, at no additional charge. Thanks very much to Five Star Painting!!!

They came to my house and provided a review and quote which was very fair. They provided painters to paint the external columns and the metal under the windows. They matched all colours and prepped every paint surface including caulking my hardy board. The painters that came out were very professional, nice and did a great job!!

I’m pretty picky with it comes to work done to my home and choosing professional services and vendors. I had an exterior painting project that I needed help to get completed. I looked into several vendors whom I provided with the same written job specifications for my needs. Five Star Painting was not the lowest (like the painter guy from the ad on the light pole), nor were they the highest. So their pricing was in the fair range of what I would have expected the job to cost. What sold me to try them was meeting Mike in person. Mike was very professional to speak with, knowledgeable about what they do and gave me the confidence in their ability to give me the quality I sought at a reasonable price. The crew that arrived to do the job was great as well. They were very attentive to detail, cordial and clean. Overall the job went smoothly and I am very happy with the results. I will definitely be calling upon Mike and Five Star Painting for my future painting needs.

Firstly, Sohail came and was very informative in his sales pitch. He also gave us pictures and a few addresses to view previous jobs so we were very confident he was going to deliver quality as we were looking to paint the ENTIRE exterior of our home. The complimentary design consultant came and she was like gold. MaryFe was so pleasant and easy to work with. She helped us pick the colours for our home in short order. This was such a relief because picking the paint colour seemed a daunting task and it was causing me stress! Prem and Daniel came to do the prep work/power washing and MaryFe met them at our home to make sure the colours were communicated clearly. Another huge relief. When Prem and Daniel came back to work they were prompt and worked long days until the job was done to my satisfaction. They were polite and thorough. My husband and I are very satisfied with the finished product and feel we made the right choice going with Sohail and 5 Star Painting. We have received many compliments from both neighbours and friends. Most importantly, I love driving up to my clean/fresh house everyday.

Due to some family emergencies, we had to keep postponing the painting project after we got a quote from Mike Otani. Even though it was a year later, Mike was very understanding and kept the promise quote with the discount it was offered at the time. Hamid came to my house and I was surprised how one man can move all the heavy furniture by himself! Hamid took great care with his work; he got some very difficult corners and very high ceilings. He was very friendly even when I changed my mind about the paint colour in our master bedroom after he put on the first coat! He did LOTS of touch ups with no complaints. His patience was very much appreciated. He also helped me put back all of furniture so I didn't have to stress about it. What I thought would be a very stressful project was actually the most enjoyable and smooth experience as a homeowner. I would definitely recommend Five Star Painting!

Work was done on budget and on time in fact in one day. Was especially pleased with the painting of the ceiling on the porch as it clad in aluminium. It looks so fresh now. After the job was done and I was satisfied or so I thought I paid the man and he left and it was after that I noticed that one window was missed. I e-mailed Sohail and though some e-mails back and forth the problem was solved to my satisfaction.Thanks Sohail and yes I would recommend this company.

The team of Ali and Skip did a great job painting my house. They were both very professional, pleasant and respectful. They were thorough and meticulous in their work and in their cleanup. It was a pleasure dealing with them both and they are excellent representatives of this company.

We met Mike at the homeshow last year and decided to contact his company. He went and did the walk through and created the quote there and then. Mike kept following up with me and there were zero hiccups through the process which is a rarity with contractors. The job was done in 2 and a half days. I would definitely recommend this company.
