    Interior painting

    We had our lower floor re finished, living room, dining, kitchen and powder room. Brian and his team were punctual, professional and take pride in what they do. We are very pleased with the results and would hire them again.

    Full Condo Paint Job

    We had our entire loft condo painted by home painters a few months ago (two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a joint kitchen living room with high ceilings.) Leading up to booking Home Painters, we had an excellent consultation with Brian who led us through the process, helped greatly with colour and tone selection, and gave advice on how to paint the bathroom (white) for resale. Given a lot of strange angles and a lot of touch ups, their painters came in and prepared the entire condo in only one day, and had the painting completed in two days. The attention to detail was quite nice, and we were initially very pleased with their work. One of the main questions and concerns we had was with the quality of paint. We talked about wanting a paint that would not scuff or scratch easily, something where the walls could be washed (infrequently, but paint that would support this.) Home Painters insists on using paint that they choose, and assured us that we would be thrilled with the result. Sadly, we are very, very unhappy. The walls have a chalk feel to them, and if a jacket so much as brushes the wall, and large black mark appears immediately. It has only been a few months, and already we have scuff and scratch marks everywhere in our home. This was rarely a problem before the paint job, and now we feel as if we have to walk on egg shells around the walls. It is a large open concept space, so any mark stands out quite a bit, and as we prepare to repaint those sections, our concern is what it will look like having patches repainted rather than a whole wall (which, ultimately, would mean repainting a good portion of the condo.) So, while we were initially very happy with the approach and professionalism of Brian and his team, the quality of the product they used and our overall dissatisfaction with what was a rather expensive job (which we were assured was because of the guaranteed quality) means that we are unable to recommend them, and have to give them only two stars.

I’m also very disheartened of the issues you are having with respects to the cleaning of the scuffs on the wall and I apologize for that. However, I am 100% committed to making you happy and doing whatever is possible as well. I just spoke to your wife, and unfortunately due to the hallway area being quite narrow and there is a lot of traffic as well, scuffs may happen again. However, I mentioned to her that there are 2 solutions to the problem. Since we painted your hallway in a flat finish, you have the option of repainting your hallway in a more durable satin or semi gloss finish. The only drawback there is it will definitely eventuate more of the wall imperfections, which Sue wasn’t keen on. An Eggshell finish is also an option, but I think based on the amount of traffic, this won’t be durable enough and potential scuffs may occur again. The second option that I’m proposing is to keep the existing flat finish, and you can plan with me to come by and do regular touchup maintenance on a yearly basis as needed (ie. 2-3x/year). Usually wear and tear or wall scuffs are not covered under warranty and I usually charge for both of these services. But as a client satisfaction gesture would be willing to do this for you at no charge. Again, I really apologize for your dissatisfaction with these wall scuff issues. At the same, at no charge to you, I’m willing to do whatever is necessary to win your confidence back and make you satisfied again.     Interior of entire house

    Our house looks spectacular and we have Val and Tony to thank for it! We interviewed about 5 different paint companies and were immediately impressed with Brian's presentation and speedy quote. The painters Val and Tony were quick, thorough and tidy. We had some complicated requests (and a very colourful plan!) and they listened carefully and did it exactly how we wanted. The house looks amazing! Even better than we imagined it. So glad we hired these professionals.

    House Painting, multiple rooms

    We needed a pretty large paint job done quickly while some other contractors were doing work in the house. They showed up when Brian said they would, did a fantastic job, no hassles with the other contractors, abd a very reasonable price. I will use them again, and won't hesitate to refer them.

    Paint my house

    Hired Home Painters to paint my whole house. Work was done within a few days. Requested them for extra paint in case some area require touch up, they were happy to left behind some paint for me. Very satisfy with their work.

    Interior and Exterior Painting

    I have used Brian and his team for numerous painting jobs on both the interior and exterior of my home. Brian was extremely professional and organized during all interactions and the quality and service of his company was exceptional every time. Keep up the great work!

    Exterior Painting

    We had the exterior of our home painted in September. The soffits, window trims, front door and garage door were painted at that time. We were very satisfied with the work completed. Zoran and Brian were very receptive to our feedback and ensured that all the painting was completed to our satisfaction. We would recommend their services.

    Home Wallpaper Removal and Painting

    We called a couple of painting companies but Brian got back to us right away and reassured us that the old wallpaper in our home could be removed and painting done within the time frame we were looking at. Other companies said there would be too much labour involved in removing the wallpaper and repairing the walls. One company even suggested that we should put up new wallpaper. Brian's painter, Zoran, removed all the wallpaper ahead of schedule and the painting was done on time. He did an excellent job and left no mess. We found Brian and Zoran very accommodating and professional throughout the entire project. We will use them again.

    Exterior house painting

    Home Painters had previously done the exterior painting work (garage and window frames, home trim), and so when it was time to re-apply, I called Brian. Though almost 5 years later, his enthusiasm and level of professionalism were still very high. No hidden costs and no pressure to add to the scope of work. I would recommend Home Painters for your painting needs.

    Exterior painting

    Overall, great job home painters have done. My project was exterior painting and involved wood holes and cracks filling. Dalton surprised me that he didn't fill holes in one shot. Instead he filled it layer by layer to make it dry better. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. Explained thorough if we have concerns. The paint on our front deck didn't stay well because of the wet. He spent extra time to fix it. Definitely would recommend home painters to people who need good painting jobs done.
