EcoTech installed three sets of sliding doors and three basement windows for us a few years back, and they all still look and function good as new, with no issues whatsoever. The work was done quickly and professionally, and the cost was very competitive to others we'd been quoted. We'd definitely recommend them, and would use again!

MOMO and Zoran came at pre booked time and started working right away. They both did an excellent job. MOMO was very friendly and explained everything he did. The doors are excactly what we had picked. We are so happy to have picked Ecotech and would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone. Keep up the good work.

We needed to replace 14 windows (some quite large), including three combination windows - large rectangular living room windows with a separate overhead curved portion. We also decided to replace two steel access doors - 1 from house to garage, the other from garage to backyard. We interviewed three contractors very thoroughly and found that Scott from EcoTech had by far the best products at the best price (from a quality (quite high!)-to-value (price was excellent given quality) perspective). Scott from EcoTech came to our home several times to work on our quote finding helpful ways to reduce cost and actually increase value, to answer the thousand questions we had, and to really refine the approach. Everything was explained clearly and Scott followed up in all cases by email (very responsive throughout). The installation took one day and went very smoothly. Andre's team including Andre, Richard, Val and Igor were polite, professional and courteous. Andre and Richard answered all my questions and addressed my concerns politely and professionally. They worked quickly but expertly to finish the job. Thanks for the great work, gentlemen! Windows: Not only does the low E coating cut the glare, but the sound proofing is also amazing. The house just feels warmer and quieter than before. The windows are just beautiful and the doors fit like a glove. Doors: We chose the sable trim package for one of the doors and are very happy with the finish and depth of colour.

After receiving a quote from Mark, we decided to go ahead and replace all our windows along with the front door and the patio door. They were not the cheapest but not most expensive either. Mark was very confident about their products and installation technicians and answered all of our questions. The installation of the windows went smoothly and without any problems. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with our patio door. Instead of the handle being on the right side of the door, it was on the left side, which was not correct. I pointed this out to the crew and they acknowledged that the wrong door was ordered. They proceeded with installation of the new door since the old one was already removed. They said that they are going to place a new order for the correct door and let me know when they can come and replace it. They also warned me that due to their crazy workload, it might take couple of months before they would have free time to do it. I was a little bit disappointed, but since it was already the end of the patio season for us, I said that it was fine with me. To my surprise, 3 weeks later on Saturday I got a call from them and they asked me if they can come and finish the job. In two hours, they were done and everything was working. As other reviews mentioned, they cleaned up everything after themselves inside the house and outside. I am really happy with EcoTech Windows and would highly recommend them.

The Ecotech salesperson was very knowledgeable about the products. He answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. The installer arrived within the time frame provided to me. He was professional and had my patio door installed within 2 hours. The new patio door looks and works great. I would highly recommend this company.

Very satisfied with the service and installation of my windows installed, Mark was excellent with his customer service and Gilad took his time explaining and demostrating the windows. The installer were very professional and removed and installed the windows in a very timely matter. All around great service and would use them again.

We needed 34 windows and patio doors to be replaced. After hearing and seeing presentations from few different companies, we decided to go with Ecotech Windows and Doors. They gave as reasonable price, a little higher than our lowest quote, but we liked their product better. The test with ultra-red light, that Mark showed us, was very convincing. Their windows are slick and modern. Of course there were companies where their windows had more bells and whistle, but also higher price. The crew was amazing. They came on time and worked hard for two days. They were considered about protecting my floors and furniture. After work everything was vacuumed and cleaned. Outside all garbage was taken away and even my interlock was swept. I was a bit concerned because I had my shutters installed on the downstairs’ windows. They removed them very carefully and then took care putting them back. Richard took time to make sure my shutters are reinstalled properly, even corrected the places that were to tight from previous installer. Andrea and Richard were very patient with all my questions, even the one that seem to be unprofessional. Richard explained the process and addressed all my concerns. Thank you guys. Now will be the time to put my windows to the real test when winter comes.

The Ecotech installers (Vadim and his work buddy...sorry, I can’t remember his name) arrived for the install on Friday, October 16, 2015 as scheduled. At first, I was surprised that there were only 2 installers, as I thought there was going to be more of them, as I had 11 windows and 1 patio (sliding) door to replace. However, with how effective and efficient Vadim and his partner were, I can see why they may be mistaken for a ‘dynamic duo’. These guys did not need another person to ‘interfere’ with their work flow, as they went through the process with professional ease. This was my first ever window installation (and expense wise - hopefully the last ), so finding a reputable, affordable company to deal with / work with, was extremely important to me. I made it very clear to all vendors that quoted for my business, that I wasn’t necessarily looking for the ‘cheapest’ quote, but I was looking for the best value, and the best workmanship that I could get for a reasonable amount of money. After reading other reviews about this company, and making my own “apples to apples” comparisons, I believe I made the right choice with Ecotech. I am a big “do-it-yourself-er” for many household repairs and renovations, but even I know when something is beyond my skillset and requires professional knowledge and expertise. I had “brick to brick” window installations done only 2 weeks ago, so all has been well so far. However, I have attached a few photos of things I noticed the day after the install, just in case they are problematic in the future, and I’ll have ‘proof’ that this was only a day after the installation was completed. Don’t get me wrong, I am not (currently) having any issues with these things, but one never knows what the future holds.  In the first few pictures, you will see that there is a gap in the bottom left corner of the aluminum capping that has not been covered with caulk. I was told that this was intentionally done to aid against possible condensation, and as you can see by the other photos, this was done (or, err, not done??) on multiple windows, so until I have any doubts to the contrary, I will accept the explanation and reasoning for this as true (for now). Additionally, if you look carefully (4th photo) at the top of this window – the glass – I cannot tell if this is glue or adhesive from when the window was actually manufactured, or if it is slight chipping of the glass itself. This window is in the master bedroom, and again, unless I have problems with the window (leakage, condensation, frost build up, non-efficiency, etc), only then will I worry about it. For now, we’ll leave it alone and see how it holds up over the upcoming winter. If I have anything (negative) to report, I will revisit this review and update my commentary as necessary, but I’m hoping that doesn’t happen, as I am overall very pleased with the work that was done, and with the professionalism demonstrated by Vadim and his partner. I was quite impressed at how skilled these guys were, and they wasted no time in getting right to work, and kept at it until around 7:00 p.m. as it started to get dark out. They made sure all the windows were installed, and then Vadim came back the next day to finish up the window trim, caulking, capping and clean-up. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and efficiency of the install from start to finish. These guys were not ‘time wasters’ and did not ‘cut corners’ at all… they seemed to use endless amounts of spray foam, window caulk, etc., and were extremely generous in the amounts being used to make sure that everything was sealed properly (more than I thought they would use). They also replaced all the inside window trim with brand new trim, and even went to the extreme of covering the nail holes with wood filler, then caulked the indoor trim as well…. VERY, very thorough! For me personally, you hear all the horror stories of unscrupulous, crooked and dishonest contractors / tradespeople, so having this professional team that seemed to take a lot of pride in “doing things right”, spoke volumes about the company itself and the quality of the people they select to do the trade. Again, unless I have future problems with the items listed above, I highly recommend Ecotech as a professional window installation company. Thanks guys, I greatly appreciate all your hard work!
