I have never bought any renovation from a person who came to my door, and EcoTech gave me a good reason to return to that policy.
I ordered 2 windows which were supposed to be custom-made to specifications. The person who came to do the measurements was told what I expected.
Unfortunately, the windows ordered and installed were smaller than the agreement stated. As a result, the roller blinds had to be cut (by myself) to fit.
In addition, the caulking was not done around the inside of the windows; this meant there were wide gaps between the walls & the frames. When I contacted the office, I was told, "the inner caulking is only cosmetic, it does not affect the energy efficiency of the windows or their insulation. That's why it is usually applied only to visible areas or where the casing does not fit the wall due to unevenness..
I had to send photographs of the centimetre-size gaps around the windows, before a technician was sent to complete that job.
the windows were installed in April and 2 months later, in June, the caulking was done, after much back-and-forth discussion.
Suffice it to state, I do not recommend this company.
