George did a very good sales job -we were told we would get 2 coats of paint, professional crew, excellent job, guaranteed etc. In late summer, we hired them. we did all the heavy work - moved all furniture out, filled holes, sanded, taped over and wrote DO NOT PAINT on certain areas. On paint day, the crew was late, and we left. When they were done, we returned, and the crew were very anxious to leave and did so asap. We then noticed that they had left their vacuum behind, so we called them back - while waiting, we noticed that a few areas were not painted, so we had them do so upon their return. Over the next 2 days, we noticed:
- some more areas not painted
- Some areas painted very thinly, and the original colour showing through (2 coats?)
- an area where I taped over, the tape was removed, and painted
- cutting work was very sloppy
- dust blobs and plaster chips were just painted over, leaving protrusions on doors, walls, and window sills
- of the 5 gallons of original paint, about 1 1/2 gals left
We called Brent to come over and see the poor paint job. He came over about a week later, and we pointed out all the problems. We asked for a partial refund, since we only got 1 coat of paint, and asked him to go and think about it, and call us back. Of course, we never heard from them again.
So if you are thinking of hiring WOW paint, be warned!
