    Great company!

Peter and his team were fantastic. They did a thorough job for a really decent price. They were friendly and trustworthy and, overall, made the experience pleasant and seamless form start to finish. I would highly recommend Peter and his team at WOW 1 Day Painting.

    Kitchen

We first used WOW painting a year and half ago, and we were very pleased with their professionalism and the quality of the workmanship. Our first experience was having them paint the outside of the house. When we decided to paint our kitchen, there was no hesitation on our part to use them again. Peter's team was very efficient and great to deal with. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Company really lives up to its name!

Super impressed with this company. From Pat coming to do a quick but thorough estimate, to Eric, Peter, and his crew arriving on time, being friendly and courteous and communicative, to the quality job they did -- in only 1 day, of course -- and then to be met with a sweet treat? These guys kept making me say "wow" and now I totally get it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get painting done without any hassle -- and already have!

We had a newly built bedroom and bathroom painted by WOW and was very impressed with how quickly they were able to provide a reasonable quote. We had the work completed the very same week! No mess, no complaints. I will definitely be using WOW again! Thanks WOW!

    Condo repair and painting

The crew who painted our condo were professional, courteous, friendly and did everything to ensure we were fully satisfied with their work. Their attention to detail was second to none. We received a very competitive quote in a timely manner and went with WOW 1 Day Painting due to the great reviews and quick turnaround - we are extremely satisfied with the final product! They did a great job fixing cracks and repairing drywall throughout. Thanks WOW! We would definitely use them again.

Full House: Quoted quickly and fairly; painted quickly and well.

We had a quote within 24 hours and had a date scheduled for painting within 24 hours of that. Peter's team showed up on time, were nice guys, were conscientious about keeping things tidy, and they did an excellent job with the paint. Most impressive, we thought, was that they offered to come back when the light was better to see if the color was as fast as they'd hoped. (It was.) We were expecting to pay more for the one-day service but the quote was competitive with the three other quotes that came in. We couldn't have hoped for better service or better work.

Exterior painting of Century Old Home

Eric's team painted all the exterior windows on our Century Home in Toronto, plus all doors, soffits, and trim, including a garden picket fence of approximately 150 feet (boths sides of the fence). They were careful, arrived on time and finished what they said they would accomplish each day. In the Spring of 2016, they are returning to paint a garden trellis and some new work on our garage. They are 10 out of 10!!

Awesome review - thanks so much! We really enjoyed the project and can't wait to give you a hand in the spring. Have a great winter!!!

Repair and Paint Basement and Ceilings

Peter's team painted the basement stairway, hall and rec room, including faux wood panelling to wainscot level throughout and 3 ceilings upstairs. Because there were lots of repairs to do and the faux wood required a base coat, the job was scheduled for 2 days. They completed the work in the scheduled time, even though they had to re-do some repairs they weren't satisfied with and add an extra coat in some places. I am a perfectionist. The work they did was not quite perfect in a few places but overall was excellent. Amazing what they accomplished in 2 days at a very reasonable cost for the amount of work required. All team members were very professional and nice, a pleasure to have in the house. I am delighted with the result and will certainly use them again.

    Entire home

A very attentive crew who were quick and efficient in getting the job done. Our only suggestion is to take extra time in cleaning up and ensuring nothing is missed. Its ok to take an extra day to come back to do a final walk through. Overall the job was well done and we are happy with the service we received.

Painting of living room, entryway, hall and bedroom

It's unfortunate that this isn't a happy review. Sadder still because if I had simply heard back from the company in regards to my concerns, I'm sure the review would have been a much more positive one. But Wow Painting has demonstrated to me that they are only interested in one-time business and do not stand behind their services. I completed their survey that they sent after the job was complete with detailed comments. I heard nothing. I then sent a very detailed email to the Operations Manager and Sales Rep who had organized my paint job. No response. Here is what I detailed in my email. I don't think any of these are outlandish concerns: Overall, I'd say the paint job that was done was alright. It's better than I would have done on my own and was definitely quicker but I can't say that it's as professional as other paint jobs that I have paid to have done. The painters did not remove any of the light switches or outlets. Some of them have some paint on them, I can live with that, but now I am stuck if I want to replace any of the covers with something a slightly different size or shape as the old paint colour will show through. They did not tape. And for the most part they did a good job, however, around my window sills in the living room, the painting is very sloppy. There is uneven paint all over my window trim. This looks pretty awful. I spent a fair amount of time washing paint splatters off of the tiles in my entryway. They splattered the living room paint colour on to the archway of the kitchen and just left it. So now my kitchen entrance way has the dark kitchen colour with splotches of the lighter hallway colour. I can't rectify this as I don't have any of the kitchen paint. In the bedroom, when they arrived I showed them that there were old blinds up. I told them that I had tried to take them off that morning as I was planning on throwing them out. I asked if they could help as my hands were not strong enough to unscrew. I also said if they could not, that I would continue to try to remove the screws. They assured me they would take them down. By mid-afternoon they had started painting in the bedroom and were painting the window sills with the blinds still up. I asked them another two times if they were going to remove the blinds. They said yes. They never ended up removing the blinds. When I asked them why as they were leaving they said "we don't have a screwdriver"... obviously I do. They could have asked, or I could have continued to try. So now, I have two spots up near the top of the window frame (where the hardware was hanging down) that are unpainted. Also in the bedroom, they failed to fill a set of holes up near the top of the wall. They are very obvious, so this was clearly not just an oversight. Finally, this is kind of the weirdest thing that happened. I was home all day with the painters. When they left, I discovered my hairdryer laying on my bed. Just tossed there. I definitely did not put it there. So they obviously used it to speed up the drying of some plaster or paint but they did not ask me if they could use it. They did not ask me if I had a hairdryer. So this means they went into my bathroom, rummaged through my cupboard, found the dryer and then used it (and then didn't bother to return it to the bathroom). I find this particularly unprofessional.

Hi there, Thank you for your honest feedback. Obviously none of this is okay and we apologize for the experience you have had. We have initiated an internal review of what happened and we will make this right for you. Our general manager has reached out to you separately and we would be honoured if you allow us to return to address all of your concerns (obviously at no cost to you). Thanks again for the feedback - we are constantly striving to get better and appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.
