We chose this pot light installer based on the excellent reviews. During the installation of pot lights in our kitchen, we were informed they would last for 10 years. It's important to note that this style of pot light doesnt use replaceable bulbs; when they stop working, the entire fixture needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, one of the pot lights failed in year three, and several others began to fail within five years. Our receipt clearly states a 5-year warranty covering parts and labor. When we contacted Pot Light Expert regarding the replacement of a light under warranty, we were initially informed there would be a $200 charge, as they said their warranty covered only one year for parts and labor. After sharing our concerns in a review on HomeStars, the installer promptly returned the next day, replaced the failed lights, and requested that we remove our review. I've since edited the review and adjusted the rating to reflect the satisfactory resolution.Answer from pro:

Hossein and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with for our potlight installation project. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they prioritized professionalism and customer satisfaction. They carefully covered and protected all our furniture, ensuring everything was spotless throughout the process. In just one day, they installed over 100 potlights, added multiple new switches, and seamlessly relocated several existing lights. Their efficiency was impressive, and they worked with precision and attention to detail. What truly stood out was their exceptional communication. Hossein and his team took the time to understand our needs, answer all of our questions, and provide thoughtful advice on light placement and design. Their expertise helped us achieve a lighting setup that not only looks amazing but also enhances the functionality and ambiance of our home. The team was also incredibly respectful, working quietly and efficiently without disrupting our daily routine. They left the space immaculate after finishing the work, which was a huge bonus. I recently hired Hossein and his team at Potlight Expert, and they did an outstanding job! They began by assessing my space and recommending the ideal number of lights. They marked all the spots and reviewed them with me before drilling to ensure I was happy with the quantity and placement. The team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled, completing the job perfectly on the first try. I went with 17 lights, and they finished in under 2 hours! They protected my floors and furniture, cleaned thoroughly, and left my home spotless. The lights look amazing (pictures don't do them justice), and their fair pricing made the experience even better. Before leaving, Hossein said: "I have been doing this for over 18 years, and I treat every home like it's my home." That level of care truly showed in their work. Awesome work, highly recommend (which I did and my friends are extremely satisfied). Very clear communication, expert workmanship and design advise. This is the third time Hossein installed pot lights for me and always happy with their service. Oh and they don't leave any mess.Answer from pro:
