    Patio doors and windows

    Ryan was super helpful and very informative. He was in contact with us within minutes of requesting a quote to set up an appointment. He showed up on time, was very polite and super friendly and answered all our questions and we settled on a price that seemed reasonable and fair. Very happy so far and can’t wait for the final installation to be completed.

    Door installation

    Ordered and paid deposit in Feb 2021. Was told 8-12 weeks, which we were fine with. The end of July still no word on the install, and nothing from the sales rep. I reached out and the rep told me the delay was due to the lumber shortage (for a steel door). Finally got an install date of Aug 18. Was called an hour before the install time and told it was cancelled. When finally installed, they drilled a hole in the door surround, making it open to rain, wind, snow. The door itself is very nice, the only reason I gave it a 3 for satisfaction, other than that, the customer service is terrible.

    Window Replacement

    The installers were courteous, kind, and professional. They worked around our busy household and were considerate of our personal workspaces. From the initial sales call to the finished product we were thoroughly impressed with this purchase. And we love the window! I will recommend Nordik Windows and Doors to family and friends.

    New front door with installation

    Ryan at Nordik helped get us a unique front door, and Alex and team did a great job installing it. Very happy with our new door! So glad we got this done.

    Windows replaced

    Honestly, relieved Nordik came thru and replaced an incorrectly installed window. Both installs, have been seamless and impressed by their workmanship. Thanks Nordik! Faith restored and beautiful install of windows!

    Sliding down

    The installation went smoothly, the guys worked efficiently and effectively. They ensured to clean up after themselves and went through all the details of the door before they left. Excellent job!

    7 months and still waiting

    We decided to redo all our windows and 3 patio doors. Signed the contract on March 8th 21. We were told 2-3 months for installation. They assumed we wanted standard patio doors even though they came out to measure. We were told that when they came back to remeasure a month later that it wouldn't change the time line. Fast forward end of June, all windows got replaced but no doors. No time line on the doors that are suppose to be made in house. Less than a month later and some screens need to be replaced because they don't fit properly. They take them back to the shop and they lose them. Take until middle of September to get that issue fixed. Still no patio doors. Get a message that patio doors will be installed Oct 1st. Get a phone call the morning of Oct 1st that the doors aren't ready with no time frame. Been waiting ever since for a manager to call ..... Still waiting Spend your money on a small company that actually care about their customers. You'll pay less and get Andrews

    Replacement of windows and doors.

    Installers were excellent! I ordered in February, still yet to be completed. One window was made to the wrong size so had to be reordered. Another window leaked and had to be replaced. Still waiting. Patio door was not painted properly. Still no ETA on the doors after 8 months.

    3 replacement windows installed

    Installers were terrific. They noticed a few minor issues and alerted me to them and arranged to have them corrected. There was an issue with the larger window, wouldn't lock and sliders would not come out. A technician was sent, who was so rude and insulting to me. Called to complain about tech and nobody called me back. Are sending another tech in 1 months time. The window doesn't work or fit. Company in no rush to correct their error and won't return phone calls, yet they cashed my cheque. Now that they have the money, it seems that there is no rush to correct their mistake. Would not recommend.

    Window and Door Replacements

    Good News/Bad News Review First the good news. Our sales rep Breanna was fantastic! She was very helpful in selecting our window and doors and we are very happy with the decisions we made. She would get back to us promptly. I would recommend her to anyone! Nordik’s windows and doors seem to be a very solid product. The windows and doors open and close with ease and they really cut down on the outside noise when they are all closed. We did have an issue with one of our casement windows not opening properly. We called and they set up a service appointment quickly. The service technician was great and had the issue fixed in no time. No further issues there. We had 3 different installation teams, and all were great. They worked efficiently and took pride in their work. Now the bad news and the reason for the 2-point deduction. Nordik is terrible communicating with their clients. I called the office and asked a fairly simple question. The person that answered the phone said “I don’t know, ask your sales rep”. Gee, thanks for your help! They also seem to be bad at returning phone calls. I tried several times in a week to speak to someone to schedule an installation. No call backs and after a week I asked to speak to a manager, who never did phoned me back. Finally got a response once our sales rep got involved. Another example is we had an installation scheduled for an afternoon. They showed up first thing in the morning. When I said I wasn’t expecting them until noon, they said that their morning job got cancelled and they sent them to my house. Fortunately, I was home, but I could have had other plans or appointments for that morning. A phone call should have happened to make sure someone would be home. Overall, we are happy with our windows and doors. I would recommend Nordik to someone for their product but would warn them about their customer communication issues.
