Just bought a house and the previous owner neglected to tell us about the mice. We were horrified and completely at a loss. In all of our previous years as Homeowners, we have never had to deal with rodents or vermin of any type. We were referred to GTA and Troy through close friends of ours, who coincidentally had just recently moved into their new home (in Markham) to find mice as well. Troy was such a dream to deal with……he was knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was respectful of the fact that we have two children and two cats – taking the time to assure us that the bait would not come into contact with either the children or the cats. When I first called I was suprised how quickly they got back to me. As with the raccoon issue we had it dealt with and I am very satisfied with this company's services. Based on Homestars reviews I called the hotline at around 10PM expecting an answering machine but was pleasantly surprised to talk to Kevin directly. We were able to meet up 12 hours later to discuss my issue, a case of Northern Rat Fleas. By 2PM of that day, less than 16 hours after our initial conversation, Kevin was at my front doorstep. Kevin immediately identified the source of the flea problem (a rat colony under a neighboring backyard fence). Kevin took the time to fully explain his reagents and techniques. He was very knowledgeable and patient as I had many questions. After the initial spraying, Kevin gave us a guarantee, called frequently to follow up, gave us a second preventitive spraying a month later and rebaited the rat traps until all rats were gone. Since the second Kevin walked through the door, I have not had any problems. Kevin was honest, kind, professional and most importantly got rid of my problem on his first visit.
