    Gas supply line repair

    Called GasGuys after we noticed a supply line gas leak in our basement and Enbridge shut our gas off - George was upfront with the estimated cost based on description and photos of the site and he was able to come to the house within about 3 hours of our initial call. He was extremely courteous and walked me through the process of the repair and testing of the gas line to find out if any other leaks existed. He ended up finding 3-4 additional leaks (including providing video of the bubbling during testing) which were repaired, cleaned up a number of other old connectors that were no longer to code and shortened and capped an old gas line that was no longer in use. In all, I probably could have found a cheaper company to do this repair but I don't want to mess with half-measure repairs to gas lines. The confidence George provided in the thoroughness of his repairs was absolutely worth it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Many companies will come and fix the obvious leak that has been identified by Enbridge without testing the rest of the gas supply lines. Often we are called in after a leak has been repaired and the home owner is still smelling Gas.     Great service

    George from Gas Guys responded to my request through home stars regarding a gas line coming into our house. Sent him a picture he quoted me promptly and we set up a time and day. George was actually right on time and did an excellent job. Friendly and professional. Would definitely use again. Thanks George.

    Gas Line Experts

    Excellent service. Technician arrived on time. Explained why this connection had to be replaced (safety reasons) and completed the job quickly. Would hire him again if required for another project.

    Cooktop and bbq line

    Top-notch professional that I would trust with my home again. Took pride in his work. Responsive by email, arrived as scheduled, disconnected gas cooktop, brought the bbq line up to cook, and checked for leaks along the visible piping. Allowed me to observe and answered all of my questions.

    Capped gas line to stove in preparation of receiving new electric stove

    We were getting rid of our gas stove and getting an induction one so we needed to cap the gas line. Gas Guys had great reviews so I sent a request for a quote. George replied promptly and we agreed on an appointment the day before the new stove was to be delivered. Great communication with a reminder call the day before and just before arriving. George worked quickly and efficiently and the job was done. The invoice arrived exactly as quoted. We would highly recommend hiring Gas Guys to anyone who need their services! Thanks, George!

    Highly recommend Gas Guys!

    Within 24h of an initial call, George came out and was able to shut off 2 gas lines that we needed disconnected in our home. Fast, efficient, articulate and personable. I'd have no hesitation in recommending George to others!

    Best in class

    We got a red tag from Enbridge Gas due to a small gas leak from our boiler system. I reached out to George from GasGuys and he came within a few days. He performed a number of procedures, including using a gas meter as well as the soap test, to detect where there were leaks. George was extremely thorough and even took the time to explain each step along the way - describing in detail what he was doing and why he was doing it. This gave me the added assurance that things were completed properly. He spent a good amount of time finding the leak, fixing the leak, and then retesting all the joints. George told me he was not going to charge me for this work. Three years ago George came to fix several gas leaks around my boiler system and he says he offers a guarantee on gas leaks. George explained to me that the fittings after the yellow flex cannot be put under pressure and so they were manually tested back then. They may have been ok and have come loose 3 years later but he will still stand behind his work to ensure the satisfaction and safety of his customers. I honestly cant remember a time when a company stood behind their product/service without putting up a fight. Nowadays, things are built to break but yet companies love to put ridiculous warranty periods on their product/service giving customers a false sense of security. Then when it comes time to make a claim there are so many caveats that there is little chance that the customer will be made whole. So what George did showed a lot of character and is clear to me that he holds himself to a very high standard of customer service and satisfaction. This is an upstanding person who you would definitely want to be working on your gas project - whatever it might be. My only problem is that he is not a jack of all trades because if he was that would solve so many problems for me around the house!

    Pool heater

    Great work by George. Very responsive over email, and communication was seamless. The woork was done ontime and on budget. Highly recommend him for any gas work!

    excellent service, quick response, professional installation

    I called George last Friday, and explained the scope of work and site conditional, submitted a few pictures on his website and received a reasonable and detailed quote on Monday. George is very patient, polite, straightforward, and upfront with any additional cost that may occur. The work has been completed now and I am very satisfied with the installation. I worked as a professional engineer in HVAC industry for 15 years and I can tell the level of his work is top-notch.
