    Gas Line upgrade

    Excellent customer service. George was very accommodating on scheduling a date to have the work done. George and his father arrived when they said they would, upgraded the main gas line so that a BBQ and gas range could be connected at a future date. He pressured tested the gas lines to ensure that there were no leaks. Once the gas line was turned on, he made sure the furnace, hot water heater and Gas Fireplace were all working before he left. He was kind enough to walk me through the shot off vales and how to connect the BBQ line. It is great to deal with people who are good at what they do and customer focused. Thanks.

    Move Gas line in basement

    I thought I knew where I needed to move my BBQ gas line to. George came over and asked some great planning questions I hadn't thought of. He had a recommended route that makes more sense for me when I get my basement finished and allows me to move the BBQ to a better spot on the patio. Great customer service and fantastic quality of work!

    Gas Range installation

    Excellent experience. George and his father arrived when they said they would, connected and prepared the new range very quickly, provided a couple of options for the gas line, tested every burner, and even gave a short tutorial on how to use it. It is great to deal with people who are good at what they do and customer focused. Thanks.

    Gas stove hookup

    This is the second time I've had George from Gas Guys to our house to hookup a gas appliance. This time it was a new gas range that required the moving of the supply line as we just completed a renovation to our house. George took great care in relocating the line, despite some cramped quarters in the basement below where they had to do the work to connect to the main supply line. Once the gas line was run and secured, George took the extra time to give me a quick rundown on the operation of the stove and provided some good information (like running the oven for a bit before cooking with it to allow any coatings to be burned off). I have absolutely no reservations about recommending George and GasGuys. 100% committed to doing things right at a reasonable cost.

    Bonding and new valve

    I tried a few other companies before I called George at Gas Guys. Nobody even bothered to call me back, but George replied quickly. Not only did he call, but he was very friendly and easy to deal with. He was accommodating, easy to work with and a reasonable price. Very satisfied with Gas Guys and will definitely call them for any future jobs!! I definitely recommend Gas Guys!

    Remove BBQ line

    So happy to have found the Gas Guys to remove the gas line. George came on time and did a good job under 30 minutes. We will certainly use his service again.

    gas line installation for new gas range

    George and his father did a great job installing a new gas line for our gas range. George let us know the expected costs up front during my first phone call to him. They were quick, professional, and courteous. They helped us make sure the gas range was installed and ready to use. When the job was done, George explained in detail all the work that was done, and he went through the basics of how to operate the gas range. He even helped us to install the anti-tip bracket for the range, which apparently not too many people bother to install. Better safe than sorry with a young child in the house.

    Multiple Gas Leaks

    We got in touch with George to find the source of a strong gas smell originating from the basement of the 130 year old house we just purchased. The previous owner had hired a company, just prior to our taking possession of the house, to look into the smell and reported finding and sealing a leak. Despite the repair work they did, we could still smell gas. We contacted George and explained the history of the smell. Over the phone he thoroughly explained the different types of test that could be performed to find any leaks and the associated costs. Within the first hour, George and his dad found 10 leaks!!! After replacing the entire supply line, they found an additional leak on our supply line from the house to the metre, underneath our porch. They fixed everything! Including installing new lines to our furnace and hot water tank. I was impressed by how neat George's work was as well as his commitment to the job. They were at our house for nearly 12 hours. For the first time, I feel confident that the issue has been taken care of professionally and properly. I highly recommend George and would contact him again without hesitation if we had any additional work to be completed on our house.

Pressure tests are standard protocol when either the meter or shut off valves are turned off away from the appliance. This enables us to perform the stress test which will inevitable show us the condition of the supply line.     Gas Line Removal

    I made an appointment with George and he came as promised. He helped to cap my gas line as I was switching from a gas range to an electric one. Great customer service and worksmanship. I recommend GasGuys.ca to anyone that is looking to get the job done right for an affordable price. Kudo's to you, George!

    new gas stove installation

    George and his father were outstanding! Not only did they provide the best customer service I have seen in a decade, George was able to adjust the original gas line so our new stove could be placed against the wall ( we lived with the stove at least 5 inches away from the way, due to poor installation 12 years ago! Amazing to see a prior installation, we could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend GasGuys.ca
