Kitchen sink

Anonymous user 27/01/2026 - 8:58 AM

In the corner of my kitchen sink, looks like water is pooling around the drain. Drain is behind the kitchen cabinet and behind a hole where the kitchen pipe is connected, so I can’t see where the leaking is coming from. Is this an easy fix?

Are you a pro and able to answer this question?

It varies since you can’t see it but usually for kitchen sink drains it is a simple fix .

If the pipe exits the cabinet and into the wall through wood that is part of the cabinet then yes this is very likely an easy fix. It means it's contained withing th cabinet and is likely part of the p trap assembly or drain connection under the sink. If it was I stalled correctly there should be a slope downwards away from the sink and into the wall which would let water drip outside the cabinet space. If it's sloping backwards, that's an entirely different situation and would require more work. But chances are high that it's a simple fix.
