retrofit window

Hi I recently had all my windows retrofit, but I am not confident on the installation, the new fringed window only have 2 to 3 screws on each side with no spacer/shim and glued on with expansion foam around the frame, there are no chalking around the exterior and it sit with a little bit of gap with foam on my vinyl siding. I am really concern on the weather proofing part.
Are you a pro and able to answer this question?

Eric, it is going to be hard to tell what is going on without pictures, but I would suggest reaching out to whoever you used and make sure they address your concerns. If you don't feel things are done correctly, get someone out and show them. Find out what can be done to remedy the things you are concerned about.

The window should be installed on planks or blocks and secured with screws, the number depending on the window size. Foam insulation should be installed around the window, and aluminum on the outside should be used, along with silicone for sealing. It's difficult to say what's going on in your case without photos.
