To install a new 40A supply for your stove, we'll need to run a dedicated line using 8/3 copper wire from your main electrical panel to a new NEMA 14-50R outlet in the kitchen. This requires adding a 40-amp double-pole circuit breaker to your panel to safely handle the load. Since this is a brand-new installation where no stove existed before, the job must be done to code with proper permits and inspections to ensure everything is fire-safe and up to standard. I’d be happy to take a look at the distance from the panel to the kitchen so I can give you an exact quote for the work!
