Common Causes of Deck Peeling and How to Prevent It

I need to know what product was put on top of the deck boards ? Stain, semi transparent stain, ,solid stain, paint etc The only product that really works on the deck boards is the best semi transparent stain I've ever used called Sikkens Cetol 1 You must sand the deck boards completely down to raw wood and clean Apply only 1 coat of the Sikkens stain to the raw wood the 1st season because if you apply 2 coats at once it may peel the the next season clean the boards, apply another coat of Sikkens then your good. every several years you can apply a coat very easy My parents deck was built 20 years ago and it still looks amazing from using this stain . Its expensive stain but its the best
