Redo Water Feature in Yard
Anonymous user 12/03/2026 - 8:37 AM
My water feature is no longer holding water... pool may be broken or hose may have a leak. Whole thing was perhaps not done as well as it should have been (inexperienced installation) and may need to be redone.
Are you a pro and able to answer this question?

When a water feature stops holding water, it usually points to one of two issues: either the basin/pool has a structural failure, or there’s a leak somewhere in the plumbing or hose connections. Based on what you mentioned about the original installation, it’s very possible that something wasn’t sealed or assembled properly from the start.
The good news is that this can absolutely be diagnosed and corrected. I would take a look, pressure‑test the lines, inspect the basin, and determine whether it’s a repair or if the feature needs to be rebuilt for long‑term reliability.
