Plumbing

New shiny bathroom

Anonymous user 17/03/2026 - 4:14 PM

Bathroom is completely gutted down to the plywood. Floor not prepped. How long to install: -New shower kit (base, walls, doors) and new faucet, same style as current, shower head needing to go up a few inches on the wall and the drain needs to be moved 6-8 inches. - New tub and faucet (lets say the drain needs to be moved 6-8 inches, just to be safe) and the water line moved as faucet would be in a different spot but still on the tub, not in the wall. - Connect a new vanity sink. Vanity, vanity top and faucet already installed. Connection only needed. Let's say drain doesnt line up perfectly, (I think they never do but I'm not a plumber) Thank you!

Hey great question! This scope of work would typically take 2 days to complete. The first day would be all about the plumbing rough ins. We would relocate all the drains and install the shower base and tub along with installing the shower valves. We would then make slight adjustments to your vanity drain and water lines if necessary on that first day also. The second day (when you are ready for finishing) we would install the walls and doors for the shower kit, install the shower trims for both the shower and tub & finally, connect your vanity. Hope this helps!
