Sunroom floor
Lucy Dabrowski 14/05/2026 - 9:43 AM
There are two soft spots in my sunroom floor. I don’t want to replace the actual floor. Can it be repaired from underneath?
Are you a pro and able to answer this question?

Can you access the floor from below? Whats causing the soft spot, rot? Typically you can reinforce it with blocking installed in-between joist to joist, if the problem isn't from rotting or mold.
If it is rotting then unfortunately you're going to have to replace that section by ripping up the floor. I mean you can still reinforce it (I don't recommend) but its just going to spread to the new material.
