Flip Contractors, Michael and his crew were very professional. They were also personable, pleasant, timely and so very helpful. They obviously take great pride in their work. You can tell by the finished product. They were very respectful of our budget and you will find Michael very helpful with ideas and suggestions. They built a deck for us this past summer and did such an excellent job we didnt hesitate in having them back to finish our basement. We bought a home that needed significant work in order to fit our entire family comfortably and we wanted to turn the basement into a rentable apartment. We had never owned a home before and knew nothing about the type of work that was needed, nor did we know the regulations. VIP walked us through it all and made the whole process as painless as possible. They renovated a bathroom on the top floor. Added an en-suite bathroom to our master bedroom. Did the flooring, custom made stairs out of the flooring we chose, glass panes and oak bannisters. They took down the walls on the first floor creating a large open concept kitchen/dining room and living room area. They increased the windows and replaced one window with an exit from the dining room onto a deck in the back yard. They added a discreet powder room on the first floor and another one on the split level just below along with a hidden pocket door closet for the washer and dryer. They made an entire basement apartment, with a beautiful bright kitchen, a luxurious bathroom and bedroom. They installed larger windows to add more light, installed potlights and a separate exit. We could not be more pleased with their work. We have now rented out our inspected and approved basement apartment which they have designed in a way that it is completely independent of the rest of our home and feels like an entirely different property. All in all they renovated our entire home and turned our three bedroom, two bathroom, one powder room house into a spacious 5 bedroom, 3 full bathroom and 2 powder room home. The time they spent walking us through the process and being patient with us as we figured out what exactly we wanted, sometimes on the fly my family will always appreciate. The price they gave us was in line with what other companies charged but the care they showed when dealing with us and their attention to detail makes them worth much more. As you can tell my entire family likes the guys at VIP a lot and their work was impeccable. I should have done this post many times over the past 16 years. John has come to the rescue so often during this time, doing roof repair, repairing water damage through the ceiling from a faulty leak, 2x, even fixed a floor that was not even after a previous job from someone else. I cannot say enough about John & his amazing crew. Just recently I had to have a lot of work done to get my house ready for sale. The project was managed by Harsh Patel who coordinated all the work including painting, new flooring, kitchen counters & cabinets & even some plumbing. I don't think that there is anything that they cannot fix, install or repair. Efficient, fast, reliable, excellent quotes & a pleasure to work with.
