After hearing a lot of horror stories about contractors who take advantage of their clients, we were skeptical about hiring any contractor to get our kitchen renovated. My brother-in-law suggested we give Josh from Level Custom Build a call, as he knew them well. It turned out to be the best decision we made. We werent sure about what we wanted; we only knew we wanted a modern functional kitchen. On our first visit with Josh, he took the time to explain all the details to us. He set our expectations for what they were able to do and what was possible. He addressed all our questions and concerns. Here is a team that is extremely skilled, very punctual, clean, pays attention to details, very patient to our numerous changes, provides excellent quality of work, respects our home and took measures to make sure not to damage anything. They take pride in what they do and not just treat you like a number. I was extremely impressed with the app they provided us. This app provides information on dates, what is scheduled when, costs, due dates and pictures everyday of what was completed. Now that to me is truly impressive as it shows how organized and committed, they are towards their clients. We love what they have done with our Kitchen and dining room. Innova was hired to replace my eavestroughs and install leaf guards. They started work on the agreed date and finished as predicted. We hired SLG to renovate and repair water damage in our ensuite bathroom as well as update a portion of our basement including a washroom. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the speed that it was completed in and the flexibility of the team to deal with issues that arrive renovating a 1950's home. Electrical, framing and plumbing issues were quickly addressed and little extra touches were added with no additional expense to us to update our home. We can not say enough positive things about Jack, Joe and his team. They are the best most courteous people and we would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone else. This was our third time using Renovation Experts and we could not be happier with the result. We fully renovated our kitchen and ensuite bathroom, made updates to two bathrooms and refinished our staircase. Stans ability to estimate, communicate progress and leverage his relationships with the best people in each trade resulted in a high quality job with no surprises. I particularly like that the estimate included some assumptions on the cost of key items like tile or cabinetry. This helped to inform our choices and ensure we were aware if we were making selections outside of the budget. We found the work of our day to day on-site supervisor Sam to be detailed and the outcome beyond our expectations. Our electrician Steve and plumber Dom were professional and delivered great work, while making the journey more pleasant. We would not hesitate to use Renovation Experts again or make a referral. When I contacted Chris a few weeks ago regarding a repair for the storm door at my parents house it was because I remembered that he had repaired the screen in the storm door at our house a number of years ago and had done a great job. One of the clips that enables the movable window within the door to slide up and down had broken. At first, I had called a few companies listed online under screen door repairs, but almost none of them would come out for such a small job and the rest were quoting ridiculous prices. When I called and left a message for Chris, his son and business partner Hayes responded within minutes. I texted him a photo of the door, described the problem and he texted me right back with an appointment for the next day and a very reasonable price for the job. He and Chris attended at my parents house on time and did a terrific job repairing their storm door. Based on this experience, I called Chris again about the storm door at our own house. I had been putting off replacing it due to the cost and difficulty finding a company that would replace a single storm door. (They all want larger jobs involving multiple windows and door replacement). Replacement seemed the only way to go because there were so many things wrong: it was misaligned so there were gaps at the bottom and top where insects were getting in, the pneumatic closing mechanism as well as the lock were broken, and the screen was not staying in place. I texted Chris photos of the problems and he immediately responded that he could take care of it, and the price quoted was significantly lower than the replacement cost. Chris and Hayes attended at our house exactly when they said they would, kept the work area tidy, and did a fantastic job- the door is as good as new! I am very pleased to recommend Chris Screening and Glass- they are friendly, professional, communicate promptly, and do top notch work.Latest review:Nvg Renovation
