How long does it typically take to tile a room?

Hi, I want to know how long it might take to add an extra 1.5 square metres of tiling above my countertop? I'm using straightforward 100x200 subway tiles on freshly plastered walls with no tricky angles or anything. I'm already tiling around the sink and was considering using a backsplash for the rest to keep it simple, but I'm worried it might look mismatched.
