We had two pergolas installed by this company in November 2020. While the installation itself went smoothly, our experience since then has been disappointing. Within four years, parts of two transparent UV-filter roof panels have broken and fallen off. We contacted the company in late 2024, but their responsiveness has been very poor. After multiple follow-ups, they quoted us C$800–1,000 for repairs—without inspecting the damage first. It's still unclear whether this quote covers just the broken sections or a full roof replacement. What’s especially frustrating is that we weren’t given any roofing material options at the time of installation. We later discovered that stronger, thicker polycarbonate sheets are widely available and commonly used. Had we been informed, we would have gladly paid more for better durability. Several friends' similar pergolas are going strong(10+ years) with sturdier sheets used. We expected more transparency and better service from a professional installer.

He is a contractor that brought in workers to complete the work. We met on the first day, and agreed to set work hours (8 to 5) The hours were not met on any of the days. There were days that they showed up as late as 12:30 and would want to work to 7pm. There was a total disrespect of our home, by not covering floor or counters during demolition (until we asked), placing work tools (hammers/pry bars) in our bathroom sink causing damage, leaving patio door open during a rain storm resulting in puddles on our dining room floor, always leaving front door open after repeatedly being asked to keep it closed, used wooden retaining wall as a work bench for soldering pipe which resulted in scorch marks, not securing garbage. There was poor communication between the contractor and us during the renovation. With that being said, the contractor did try and rectify some of the issues that we had.
