Mr Robertson, himself carried out the work that I requested, that was, to replace the kitchen sink and faucet. He was very professional, explaining what needed to be done, the equipment that was to be used and the associated cost. He was honest, trustworthy with the terms we agreed to and most importantly knew what he was doing. He charged me a very fair price for the job. Hired these guys last year to install a pot filler faucet and get a quote on a frost free hose bib, and toilet install. Steve installed the pot filler but I discovered it was leaking after he had been paid and left. Tried for months to have him come back to complete the other tasks and fix the pot filler. First he didn’t respond for many weeks, eventually replying that he was on holiday and would come in shortly to complete the tasks. I also developed a leak in a different pipe then and requested him if he could fix that and he specified the day he would come in. However, he did not show up and did not communicate why. Eventually just went with a larger, reputable company. Not worth the headaches. I met Omer of Green Star Contracting for the first time a week ago. I picked him out of 6 other contractors to put a door at the end of the hallway on the main floor for privacy between me and my tenant. I told him it MUST look professional. He gave me the best quote out of all the contractors and he promised me the price won’t change. What I liked about Omer immediately, and the reason he stood out from the others I spoke to, was that he actually listened, and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted done and what was important to us. I give Omer 10/10 for workmanship, professionalism, friendliness, for staying on budget and for getting the job done on time! Trey was very professional and communicated all aspect of the job from initial consultation to completion, even out of scope aspects. If changes are required, he took the time to explain it, then seek permission to proceed. He is very punctual and delivered on the agreed upon completion time line. At the end of each workday, he thoroughly cleaned up the work area and anywhere that his work had impacted which was very professional. I would definitely use him again for any renovation I have and also would recommend him to any one I know who wants, quality work done without breaking the bank.

Minutes after posting my request, Kyle from GNE Plumbing responded. The initial request was for a toilet handle that had stopped working, but then I added a request to fix a sink faucet. He had me post some pics so that he could see the project. He arrived the next day, at the time indicated. He had the parts needed for the toilet, and went to the store to get what was needed for the sink. Very pleasant and professional, and fixed both issues. The appointment was made through an actual person; the job was checked out and an estimate prepared; a date for the work was set; the work was done in less than two hours; old fixtures were removed. A minor issue was reported and later looked after. Additionally the workers looked at the possibility of changing a shower head in the basement; they pointed out a couple of things I would not have thought of, and it is a job I may proceed with. He has an excellent eye for detail and was always clear with communicating the stages of the renovation. He came back after one week to check on his work and see if we had any concerns.
