  I hired O.T.M. to repair, powerwash, and paint my large deck. Trevor and Ian did a fantastic job. They were always on time, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. Trevor gave me a fair quote and stuck to the budget with no surprises. The finished product is solid construction and beautiful. I will definitely hire O.T.M. for other home projects.

Working with Mustafa and Yekaterina was a standout experience. They werent just executing a projectthey were invested in understanding our needs and making sure no detail was overlooked. We wanted to maximize every inch of our kitchen and eliminate dead space, and they delivered a custom wood kitchen with PET doors that is not only stunning but also hyper-functional. Every corner is utilized with ingenious storage solutions and innovative gadgets that make day-to-day life easier. Its clear they thought through every aspect of the design with precision and care. The flooring installation throughout our main level is equally impressive. The large-format tiles look flawless, and the use of Schluter Ditra for the underlayment showed their commitment to doing things the right way, not just the easiest way. To ensure the job was done to perfection, they also used Schluters KERDI-BAND to seal the entire parimeter of the main level, which is something I hadnt even realized was an option. On top of that, they went the extra mile by sealing all the tiles and grout after installation to preserve their beautiful, brand-new look. Its a detail I didnt know existed, but Im so glad they thought of it. Reno Rabbit doesnt just complete renovations; they engineer solutions.   My first interaction with Andre was very positive, he seemed very knowledgeable and asked questions about the age and history of the home. He also said he only did one project at a time, and didn't start the next one until the previous was complete to our satisfaction. This feeling did not last very long once we had paid the deposit for the renovation. The original scheduled start date was in November. In October we received an email that it was delayed until February. Actual work didn't start until mid March. We agreed at the start of the project that if he needed to stay late if he was going to waste material (like grout or cement). What happened instead was he showed up most days between 10am-1pm and stayed 6-10 hours. Halfway through the project I clarified that I only wanted him in the house between 9-6 and the extra leeway was only for special circumstances. He came on time one day and returned to arriving between 10-1 after that. When demolition started, we was surprised that the walls of the 1930's home were not drywall, and had not heard of rocklathe that the walls were actually made of. He was also surprised the tub was made of cast iron. Both of which he charged more for above the quote price and added 1 week on the 2 week project. Once the bathroom was almost done, I had messaged him to confirm I was able to use the tub which he had tested. Once it drained, I noticed the ceiling below the tub was leaking, the original pipe was held together with epoxy and had come loose from the renovation. Another added cost, and I had to replace my own ceiling, he wanted to charge more and he was behind on the next job. He also moved the bathroom light switch to inside the bathroom, which was also not tested (it turned off all lights upstairs). The light switch move was a line item in the quote and paid for, but when I told him about it he would not entertain fixing the issue. In the end I will need to change this myself, even through I have paid for it and is a line item on the "add-on" quote. Other short nitpicks: - He did not install a shower curtain rod (not specifically called out in the job, but I had assumed that would be included) - Tiles not all flush with the wall, some sticking out - Did not get the tub we wanted, apparently it was out of stock on back order (we paid him the deposit 1 year before the work started) - Shower head was not installed well, o-ring was crushed and was leaking. Luckily I was going to replace with a different head so it was an easy fix The frustrating part is the bathroom itself is well done. If the Andrei and Jessica had just given an accurate quote from the beginning and did the work they said they would it would be a 9-10 star review. They are both very personable and very good hard working people. In the end, I would have been better off with a different company who quoted higher but had explicitly called out the complexity of working on an older home and likely wouldn't have had the surprise cost.

  Arshad is a man true to his word. He did his best to have the best outcome. His employee was not very good at the perfect finish that we required. The job was priced fairly and the outcome was fairly good but not perfect. Arshad took his time to choose the perfect items we required and the only problem was with the finishing touches. I would recomed him for any job.

  We were looking for a provider to make and install oak treads on our stairs. Jose from VDR worked with us to fully understand our needs. During our visit I mentioned that we were replacing about 900 sq ft of carpeted floors on our second level with hardwood and he mentioned that VDR also did hardwood floor installation. We hired VDR for both jobs. Their pricing was fair and competitive and and we were provided with a detailed statement work. Hardwood installation was completed in 2 days and completed about a week after agreeing to work with VDR. The stairs included new oak treads and risers. In total, the work took 4 days - the first day to remove the carpet, tackboard and staples and to measure the existing treads (the treads are not all the same size and some are angled) and then 3 days to install the new treads once they'd been manufactured and stained. We are very happy with the end result.

  Removed tiles from my entrance hallway and bathroom and installed new tiling that I had purchased. Jason is a very pleasant man, easy to talk to and deal with. Takes the time to explain what he is doing and how the work is progressing. He is a 1 person operation, very hard working, and able to handle a variety of jobs needed to complete the installation. He promptly removed all debris and cleaned up after. My new tile floor is complete and looks great. The biggest recommendation I can give is that I plan to use Jason again next year for my next project and have already recommended him to other family members for when they might need some work done.

  It took a while to have the contractor show up to complete a two car garage and one half of my roof. They had to return several times over a longer period as it became clear this was a side gig. They used my waste bin to finish though the estimate included disposal, and complained to me about not making money against the Meinhaus estimate. The roof leaked over the winter, and nobody ever arrived despite several calls to Meinhaus. Only excuses. Gave up and hired someone else to complete repairs. It ended up being a separate issue, but one that should have been flagged by the installers at the time. One star since the job was initially completed before winter and looked ok, and the materials used were fine. I wouldn’t use Meinhaus again and am generally unhappy with the changes to the home stars platform as it used to be easier to proactively reach out to highly rated vendors and that doesn’t seem to be possible and it is too complex to even locate highly rated providers in my area.
