Finer Edge Painting & Improvements reviews (1382)

Initially I had asked that our front hall be painted and after discussing with Vince the Project Manager his thoughts on wainscoting as well, we decided to do both. The workmanship by the carpenter regarding the wainscoting was 1st rate as was the painting. The price for the work was extremely reasonable. We also had some new doors installed and painted - again the work was very well done and the price was again reasonable. We will now use finer edge for carpentry work as well as painting.

My experience with Finer Edge from beginning to end was truly exceptional. It was obvious from my first meeting with Bill Yoannou when he came to do the estimate that Finer Edge is a quality operation. Derek and his assistant were very talented painters, efficient, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. Vince, the manager of our project was very helpful, checked in with the painters and with me numerous times over the course of the week, and also a pleasure to work with. Overall, I was very impressed from start to finish and look forward to working with Finer Edge in the future.

These guys painted my exerior a couple of years ago and were great. They were called for a last minute job before a house showing. They arrived 24 hrs later and did a neat, accurate job with no problems.

days before a party, finer edge swooped in and make our house ready for entertaining! they arrived when they said they would and finished ahead of schedule. cleanup at the end was exceptional. couldn't be happier.

We are absolutely delighted with the service provided by our Project Manager, Vince Pilliero. Vince definitely went above and beyond the call of duty, including taking care of some small items outside the scope of the project during and even after the entire project was completed. Vince was always very responsive and very helpful. In terms of the actual work done, there were very few things that didn't meet our high standards, and for the few minor issues we found, Vince handled them immediately. We also had very positive dealings with Bill (one of the owners) in the early stages of the project. We would recommend Finer Edge (and specifically Vince) to anyone. More background on the project: We recently purchased a 4,200 sq ft home and decided to remove and replace all the crown moldings, remove all window coverings and paint the entire house (main and upper level), including the trim, the garage, and some minor exterior window touch ups. We also replaced all pot lights in the main floor and upper level (Finer Edge did the patching before new lights were installed). We also used Finer Edge 8 years ago for a much smaller project in our previous home. Back then we received excellent service and high quality workmanship, so we weren't surprised to see them so highly rated on Homestars when it was time to pick a company to do a much larger job this time around.

This is the third time that I have used Finer Edge for my painting work. Each time I am happier than the time before. They go the extra mile to make the work perfect. They even suggest things that I hadn't thought of. Please don't use them or they will be too busy to work for me.............JUST KIDDING!!

Thank you to Finer Edge for doing such a great job on our recent interior painting. Luigi, Softi and their team worked under an impossibly short deadline and were finished on time and on budget. The workmanship was excellent and everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. We've worked with other painters before and Finer Edge is really second to none - our expectations were absolutely exceeded. We'd strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a great painting company that you can be confident will do exactly what you need, when you need and with fabulous quality.

The painters were on-time, courteous, and did an amazing job! We had insulation blown into the outside walls which left 4-1" holes every 16" on the outside walls in the entire house. They sanded, filled, primed, and painted, and we can't see any history of the holes. They had originally estimated 4 days but were finished a day early. Even paint distribution, no streaks, great cut-ins by the mouldings, and smooth ceilings. Our only concern was that the clean-up was a little suspect. There was quite a bit of drywall dust on some furniture pieces that should have been covered, as well as the entire kitchen counter top had a thick coating of dust which took some time to clean. All said and done, the painting is what we paid for and we love the work. Definitely recommend them and would use them again.

We have used Finer Edge Painting for interior and exterior painting for the last number of years and they are prompt, reliable, co-operative and competitive. The work has always be done when they scheduled it and with my deadlines or wishes in mind, the quotes and final prices never differ and the crews are trustworthy, pleasant and tidy. After a year of home renovation disasters and disappointments from window installation to fence repair, I called Finer Edge to paint the foyer, living room and dining room in my Bayview Village home. I put them under extra pressure as it is the week before Christmas and I really wanted the house done before we host our Christmas festivities. What we received from Finer Edge, is the highest quality work and exceptional service. They didn't just restore our walls, they restored our faith that there are still companies and service people around who deliver as promised, take pride in their work and generally care about providing service. The painting crew, led by Doug, was a pleasure to have in our home. These men were always on time, worked long hours, were friendly, clean and neat, trustworthy and respectful. I have already recommended Finer Edge to family members and friends. If I could give them a rating of 11 out of 10, I would.
