From the initial quote with Gord Shibuya to project manager Doug Penny and his team of painters including Lloyd, we were very pleased with the polished professionalism, attention to detail and the quality of the painting of the exterior of our home. Price wise, their quote was the middle of three quotes and we were satisfied that we obtained good value for the money. Doug was very interactive, calling throughout the job to ensure that we were satisfied with the work completed so far. The team of painters were excellent and offered great suggestions to improve the job as they worked through it. We would highly recommend Finer Edge painting.

We would recommend "Finer Edge" without reservation. In a word : superb. Our emails were answered promptly by Gord, the quote was reasonable and completely accurate, the Project Manager Vince was helpful, courteous and professional, and the two painters were pleasant and -- most importantly -- did an excellent job. We were impressed by the level of service afterwards as well. Vince dropped by the day after completion to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the work. He not only touched up a bit of the seam of the crown molding in the living room [a problematic area due to previous paint job(s) by the former owner], but ended up giving the entire molding a coat of paint. This was done at no extra charge. We shall definitely be hiring "Finer Edge" for our future projects.

The work was excellent. The project manager, Vince, was there every day and on top of any minor detail. He was in contact with me immediately via email and I trusted his judgement when I needed help. Derek was the head painter and took immense pride in his work. The quality was top-notch. The paint job makes my house look sensational and it's a wonderful place to live now. We had Finer Edge paint the interior of our house as well as fix some cracked and water damaged plaster. They did an excellent job of painting and plastering. The spots in the plaster that were cracked are seamless. The work crew was courteous and professional as was the supervisor. The crew was very clean and despite the fact that they repaired plaster there was very minimal clean up for me to do after the job was completed.

Shane and his team did a beautiful job repainting our kitchen cabinets, and painting/papering our powder room. They not only did amazing work but they also made sure everything in my house was left perfectly clean and even helped me hang a new mirror in the powder room! I will definitely call Finer Edge again.

We got a few quotes to have the house painted and Finer Edge came back with the best quote and most knowledge of what needed to be done. They not only painted the house but patched up a few holes the electricians left. The work they did was excellent, even the electricians commented on how great the work was and that the patching that Peter did was excellent. The house was a big job but Peter and his crew managed to finished the job within a week. They did and excellent job and it was great working with them. Very pleasent team of people. With all the renovation with had to do in the house, they were one of the best teams. The house looks just like new now!

From the time you call or email Finer Edge you feel as though you are being treated as a valued client. Within 24 hours either Bill or Gord, the owners, will call you, set up an appointment, and give you a written quote. They also give you a time line for the project and it's been my experience that they adhere closely to it. Their manager, Vince, stops by regularly, to check on the progress of the job and to answer any questions the home owner may have. Their painters arrive on time, are courteous and take pride in their work. We've used Finer Edge four times over the past twelve years and we won't use any other painting and home improvement company. We've also reommended them to family, friends and neighbours. WE WERE IN A TIME CRUNCH AND FINER EDGE DID THE JOB. THEY WERE POLITE, QUICK (EVEN WHEN WE ADDED PROJECTS), GOT THINGS DONE ON TIME. A GREAT TEAM TO WORK WITH AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I would highly recommend this company. From my initial contact with Bill, one of the owners. He came to give me a quote right away. From there, the work started by the date promised. Colin came by a few days ahead to coordinate the job. Then Doug oversaw everything once the painters were here. The painters themselves were polite, efficient, hard-working. At the end, Doug was back to do a walk-through to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. This entire experience was a pleasure. So often you have workers at your house and they are late, or lazy or rude. Working with Finer Edge is one of best experiences I have ever had with home improvements.

We needed our large 2-bedroom basement apartment (850 sq. ft.) repainted on very short notice. I called Finer Edge on Wednesday, received a quote on Thursday and their painters were at my house at 7:30am on Monday morning. This job was completed on very short notice and they did an excellent job! I am very happy with the quality of work and they went the extra mile to accomodate my schedule. Cost was $850 plus materials.
