    Indoor Painting

    I've been hiring these guys for years. They've painted the outside of the house, my home office and most recently the bathrooms. They always do a lot of prep before painting, so the outcome is as close to perfect as a century-old house can offer. Glen did a great job stripping decades-old wallpaper and staining the cedar wainscotting in a small, difficult space.

    Inside Home Painting

    Ben, who was a manager came by our home to give us a quote and was just wonderful to deal with - honest & extremely pleasant. Jesse was the person who came into paint, hard worker, very conscientious, quiet, efficient - Got the job done in a very timely manner and his work was excellent! Pricing was reasonable. Looking forward to using them again in the future! Joy

    Interior Painting

    Thank you, for an incredible job. From the initial consultation and quote with Bill, excellent project management by Colin, and a perfect and meticulous job by Doug, Finer Edge exceeded every expectation. It's a pleasure to work with people who take pride in what they do, do it for a reasonable price, and are incredibly fair and friendly all the way through. I will definitely use your services again and will highly recommend your company!

    Kitchen painting

    Our kitchen was a disaster with one and sometimes two layers of peeling wallpaper. We wanted it removed, the walls repaired and the walls and ceiling painted. Finer Edge scoped out the job, gave us a ballpark of cost based on an hourly rate, and went to work. Result: a tired old room with a new lease on life. Thanks to the whole team-- Bill for his great suggestions, Colin for project management and especially Doug for his patience, unbeatable painting skills and willingness to go above and beyond to see the job done right.

    House painting

    The Finer Edge has been painting my house in stages over the past 6 years. I cannot praise them enough as they have consistently produced excellent results. They are professional in every way -- careful about their surroundings, paying attention to detail and priced very fairly. The manager of my projects, Vince, can always be relied upon to make sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. I made good use of his eye for design and colour and despite the fact that I can on occasion be a bit (!!!) fussy or indecisive, his easy nature and extreme patience never wavered. While all the men who worked in my home were highly proficient, I found that one - Antonio - was exceptional. His work is meticulous. Naturally, he is hard to get, but when finally slotted in, he is well worth the wait. I also greatly appreciated the flexibility of the painters who would happily do a minor touch-up here and there even though it wasn't specified in the quote.

    Indoor Painting

    We hired Finer Edge to paint three rooms in our house, including the kitchen. They communicated well, got back to us quickly via email, and more importantly, the place looks great. It looks fresh and new again. They even finished the job quicker than anticipated because there was an extra painter on hand. Soon after, we realized that the original trim colour didn't go with the new paint, so they quickly came back to do that job for us too. Luigi was really lovely to deal with, as were the friendly painters.

    Front door and exterior bay window refinish / repaint

    I recently hired Finer Edge to refinish my solid mahogany front door. Although the door was only 4 years old, it was suffering from fading and exposure to the elements and there were places where the original finish had worn off leaving the wood underneath exposed. My primary point of contact at Finer Edge (Ben) was responsive and got the job scheduled before the fall weather turned for the worse. The painter (Glen) did an meticulous job removing the old urethane and stain and applying a new coat of stain and urethane. He was a perfectionist (a good thing!) – deciding for example, to spread the urethane process over three days rather than two in order to ensure each coat had maximum drying time and resulting in a very smooth finish. The final result is a door that literally looks better than it did when it was brand new. I was so pleased with the job Finer Edge did that I subsequently hired them to paint a large bay window. Their work was excellent on that project too.

    Exterior House Painting

    I have worked with Finer Edge several times now and will continue to do so. Their work is very good and they are professionally run. Luigi and his team have been great, they communicate well and the job starts when promised. The property is neat and clean at the end of the day and the work is done well. Painting a home can be a disruptive endeavour. Finer Edge consistently makes it easier by being good and well run. The team works well together - it makes a big difference in the overall quality and experience.

    Deck Staining

    Luigi's team did another great job on staining a new cedar fence we had installed in our backyard. Weather was getting cooler and we needed to get done before it was too late to stain. We had them do our house a few years ago and the team was very professional and did a great job. They definitely take pride in their work. BR. - Rosedale.

    exterior painting

    The quote was fair and Ben had great knowledge about paint options. They came in a timely fashion to do both the quote and then to paint the shutters and exterior trim on our house. Their people were friendly and very professional. We were happy with the job and would definitely hire them again.
