    Painting front of century home

    My house had a problem with peeling paint. I shopped around and compared ratings and settled on the finer edge. The Finer Edge had good ratings, reasonable prices and a three year warranty. They did the work professionally and promptly. They did a great job. Unfortunately, there were so many layers of paint on my house that it started to peel again. I called Bill at the Finer Edge after the second year and they came back and touched it up as promised under their warranty.

    Painted six rooms, plus two level hallway.

    The Finer Edge team did such a great job at our daughters’ condo last year; we had them paint our Richmond Hill home interior walls and ceilings this summer. The quote was reasonable and they started and finished the project on schedule. Lead painter Tunay and his team did a flawless job. At the end of each day, they would sweep, vacuum and leave the home tidy. We highly recommend this business

    Front door staining

    I want to thank Glen for doing a great job staining our front door. He was thorough and came back several times to make sure everything looked good and that I was happy with it. He takes great pride in his work and it clearly shows. This is second time we've used Finer Edge and we're very satisfied! Thanks again Glen!

    Interior and exterior painting

    We used Finer Edge once previously for a small painting job. This time we had a large and somewhat complicated painting job involving trim around new windows, a number of interior walls, and exterior work including doors, windows, and garage. Finer Edge was able to quickly understand the details and made sure the job was clear. The job coordinator communicated with us promptly and clearly, and obviously relayed the messages accurately to the painting team. The two gentlemen doing the painting were very neat, thorough, and quick; including taking on small repairs that were not discussed as part of the job. We were very pleased with the results.

    Plastering walls, Adding Crown Molding and Painting

    Interior plaster work on 1920s house, back and front staircase, 3 bedrooms, living room and dining room, 6 radiators, as well as the ceiling of the 3rd floor attic and exterior painting of the front and side of the house which as two front balconies. It is a large house. The back staircase had not been renovated since the 1940s, so it was in a bad state. Moreover, when they went to paint one of the exterior bays, they discovered rotten wood which had been held together by painters masking tape. This was all removed, new wood cut, added and sealed. The attic needed a lot of work and given the irregularity of the ceiling crown molding was added. Derek and his crew did an excellent job. They arrived punctually every day, as promised. Luigi constantly visited to ensure everything was okay. Good job!

    Plastering and repainting walls in Victoria House

    Colin had his two painters come and out and repair plaster and paint selected walls. We had a lot of water damage in the kitchen wall. We added some walls during the job. The painters were amazing at doing the plaster properly - getting out all the loose plaster and filling in and sanding meticulously. A great job, done quickly. This is the second time we have used Finer Edge and we would not use anyone else.

    Outside Painting

    I had a crew of 2 painting the outside windows. It took less time than initially estimated because the crew was efficient and organized. I was especially happy with Colin as the project leader as he was always involved and very friendly.

    Painting trim and staining fibreglass doors

    Awesome job from Luigi's team following replacement of all windows and doors throughout the house. The guys were Punctual and friendly and cleaned up at the end of every day. Particular thanks to Glen for the staining on fibreglass doors and trim - looks great. Highly reccommended.

    Outdoor House Painting

    We have had a very good experience with Finer Edge. From start to finish they have been friendly, professional, well organized, hard working, and have made every effort to work WITH us. From the project manager to the painters themselves, it could not have gone smoother. We will call them again!
